I did a low-buy in 2023 which was mostly successful. In 2024 I am doing a no-buy year. Going well so far. I am doing this to get some debt paid off. I never thought of having a specific limit on the number of things purchased..... I think for 2025 I will decide to only purchase 12 items. That's one per month and I think I can do it!
Interesting to see/hear what were your 'impulse buy' items! I'm doing a no-stuff challenge this year and it's very hard to predict where exactly I will run into issues - so far so good. Lifestyle inflation is so tricky!
Great job ! I began a no buy/low buy year. I have a long list of no buys and a yellow and green list. The green list has items that I already said in my rules are ok, as there was intention behind it. These include Book Club books that I just cannot get anywhere else and a pair of all white joggers, that I will get in the spring. I would say the tights, the book club books, and the book for the ferry should not count. That brings you down to 19! Looking forward to the next video!
24 is 2 per month that sounds right number to me! Also books are always a good buy for me so maybe give yourself a book limit aside for the object limit.
@@CatchyCravingsit definitely is challenging but I mainly aim for eco-minimalism by considering the planet and the resources that go into every item. That definitely deters me from buying most things, especially buying new! And shopping my closet/using what I already have helps too :)
I'm definitely doing that challenge in 2025. I will allowed myself 2-3 items per month, so I would say 30 per year. I will exclude books though, since I'm reading much and were I live there is not many library books available.
good question, I think you stay the level of introvert/extrovert that you are, but depending on who you are surrounding yourself with, it can bring out more or less of the sides. (keep in mind I'm not an expert on this topic :D)
wow, that is a lot :) maybe think about shareing your beautiful book collection with friends and family. It can be like your small little book exchange party :)
I'd say 24 items total in a whole year is pretty darn good.
This is inspiring. I began a no-buy challenge this year and already broke it, but I’ll reframe my rules and take it month by month now. Thanks!
Keep at it. I broke my no-spend January, but I decided to keep going. We can do this!
Books are a weakness for me. I have a rule that I can only buy a book I can’t get through my local library network, which is quite extensive.
yes!! this year I also decided to do a no buy book rule!

thank you!
I think it was a success! Becoming more conscious is an incredible thing.

yes! definitly something I'm thinking about for next time I do a challenge like this, which I definitly will! :)
Love this! I try to stay around 20 personal purchases (majority secondhand) a year so it was nice to see you had a similar goal!
wow! amazing! did you find it hard? how did you keep yourself motivated? :)

It all started with the ballet skirt 😊

I love the ballet skirt where is it from ?
Great! Many people probably bought more in the first 15 days of Jan 2024
:D I hope not
If you tend to be introverted, can you move along the introversion and extroversion continuum and become tending to be extroverted???😊
