- How do you call your models space marines without ever calling them space marines?
Or colonial marines, I mean, same thing, right?
The latest Death Fields release from Wargames Atlantic, we've got some well- equipped scifi dudes with quite an accoutrement of weaponry at their disposal.
The weapons available are pretty standard wargaming loadouts, including some officer type pistols as well as a few heavy support weapons.
As always with Wargames Atlantic kits you have quite a variety of heads at your disposal, and the bodies seem easy enough to compensate kitbashes from other companies as well
You can find them here!

Love the Starship Troopers and Aliens vibe. I need to get me a box.
You were right. The head is from the Eisenkern Stormtroopers kit from Wargames Atlantic.
But where did it come from? That's the crazy part!
I haven't acquired any of the WGA Eisenkern. It has to be from the original release, which is made all the more stranger as I don't think I ever had any of the basic guys- I know I had a box of the heavy Valkyr infantry or whatever they were called, which had different heads if I recall correctly.
@@ObscuritiesinMiniature I thought one of the Valkir heads was similar to the standard stormtrooper style head of the regular troops. Maybe the one in the video is one of those?
Nice box, now all we need is a supplementary sprue with enclosed helmets ODST-style, and armoured arms for hostile environments. If, as it's probabile, these minis will sell well, I hope that WGA will make others boxes, such as command/support & females ones.👍
These look super fantastic for the price. I might get a box for use for Space Weirdos or another small ruleset.
Yeah, they'd be great for it!
Nice I haven't grabbed a box of these yet! I live being able to see the bits in your video first and plan out my kitbashes! Have fun and stay healthy!
they look like they can make good Elysian drop troops, with out the grave chuts
On the sprue, they look like more detailed versions of troops or mercs from the StarGrave series of minis
I spilled a bunch of bits from this kit with Stargrave parts, and you are absolutely correct in that they're a pain trying to discern which is which from a quick glance!
The enclosed helmets reminded me of the soldiers from the Halo franchise
I was thinking the COBRA Viper troopers
Well they remined me of the old Starcom toys for some bizarre reason, so all of us are all over the place!
@@oliviairene4637 Exactly what I was thinking :) Especially when combined with the rolled-up sleeves arm bits.
I think the stormtrooper looking head might be from the now out of production wargames factory shock troopers
It's possible. Or an Eisenkern head- neither of which I can recall owning in any capacity! Strange and mysterious!
with all those pouches one would thing Rob Liefeld designed their armor 😆 another solid kit from WGA
Nah they have feet!
Realistic sized pistol for a change... these looks good.
Nice review. I love WGA
glad you got this box set my friend. they are perfect for PDF and Guardsman
I was also thinking games like Flying Lead, Black Ops, things in that near future war vein.
thanks a lot for all your videos on the death field miniature !
I've just found them when I was searching for imperial guard proxy or second-hand miniatures.
They look cool !
I think i'm gonna take the cannon fodder male and female first for some Penal legion ^^
but thoses Oo Rah could be very cool for some Alien-each tabletop RPG too
Very good, straight into my basket!
Helmet is an Eisenkern Valkir heavy trooper head.
WA has the best deals for guardsmen in terms variety ,price and quality . Now if only they would make a highly customisable tank. chasis ........
The head is from Iron-Core Eisenkern Stormtroopers
20+ years in this hobby with a long break in the middle, and I still hate super glue.
Hate it with a passion. I would pay a service to glue all my toys together
I'm with you there. Sometimes you can see all the spots where I've glued my fingers together with super glue prior to a video.
Personally, I LOVE the testors' tubes. Love the stuff. The smell, the feel, letting it ooze out... it's just not a model building experience without it.
I can sit there all neat and dandy with my fancypants Tamiya brush on stuff, but gimme that good ol' 'murican style model glue any time!
@@ObscuritiesinMiniature I’m partial to gorilla glue gel. Always looking for a new way to attach my toys together. I’ll look at testers stuff
Have you looked into plastic cement? I have started using it and I will never go back
I will use those for Guevesa models
With weapons as-is or swapped in with GW ones?
It's always neat seeing people's allied human forces!
That buff dude has a "Doom Guy" vibe.
I don't like that the legs and torso are all one piece, And the legs look like they need to be a bit more beefy. They are nicely detailed and the heads and weapons are great.
Feel these will make great voidsmen at arms proxy's
Huh. Voidsmen? How would you paint them. I've got a few boring guys painted in typical fatigue drabs, but some garish space crew might be interesting...
Waiting for my order to arrive.
Nice 👍 going to have to get me a box
Where is the witch hunter @12:41 from? That's a nice model.
Raumjaegers?
Yay colonial marines-I mean space marines-I mean starship troopers! …did I get it right the third time?!
That's one of those "yes" meme type answers. They're everything they need to be!
Those arms got No intention of staying flush with the body And holding their gun at the same time, very frustrating
So Many models are like this😭
That’s from iron core it’s gotta be I’ve been looking at them from wargames Atlantic
That was an Eisenkern head. Lovely models; both the Eisenkerns and these marines. Gotta get a box, or 5. Wait, I thought you did get some Eisenkern a while ago? (TH-cam search) Could it came from your brother Mr. Sparkle Trout?
If it's a Valkry, it could be mine, but I thought it would've been in an older more scifi oriented bits box, as the one I was pulling from was mostly fantasy bits.
One of these days I'll grab a WGA set of them.
Even more obscure is the 15mm version of their knight thingee I still have sitting in my garage!
@@ObscuritiesinMiniature The Leviathan! Nice.
If you are building from a complete box of figures how the hell do you swap out a head from the Eisenkern set particularly if you dont have any Eisenkern figures....😊
The magic of bits boxes too close to where you're filming, I suppose!
How often does this company release new minis
Quite regularly. Sometimes things seem to get stuck in the pipeline and we seem to have a flood of new stuff all at once, but I'd say we see at least a new release every month. I don't even have time or money to cover them all- and that's before we get into all their new 3D printed offerings!
Cut the scope off and make it a SAW.
Where's the fat goat man at 15:30 from?
RGD Gaming, who had their sprues produced by Wargames Atlantic coincidentally.
Good videos just one small thing. Clean the models.
I know, I know! I was too excited to get them built.
Often times I won't catch some of those spots that need filing/ clipping/ cleaning until I've got a camera on them as it is, so it's somewhat beneficial for me too!
well looks good yes will what tell part two come outthe women one two and think of orger one thay look good can ues 9 more orgers see as do what do
poor look, very disapointed ... the guys have no shoulders ... they lack stature
