    Those are genuinely lovely models. Wargames Atlantic are rapidly becoming my favourite source for for alternative infantry models.

      Same here! They're doing some really interesting things, filling a lot of gaps in other ranges.

    M13 scratches that itch between modern style military miniatures, sci-fi, monster hunting, and skirmish. It just has a nice combination of elements that make it fun to play. The miniatures look great. Really love how they turned out.

      The ability to essentially pick and choose what you want to use for your miniatures is a big plus for me, too.

    The figures look really good! The color scheme you chose is highly realistic and simple and I think it is one of your best ones so far. Thanks for sharing this.

    Loving this "Majestic 13" series. Ive been itching get started on a squad myself, and this has been brilliant inspiration.

      Glad you enjoy them! I got the bug *hard* from the fact it's so open-ended and freeform in how you want to represent your forces and aliens on the table.

    I love minis with lots of folds and pockets and details that make drybrushing look so good. It feels like cheating!

    They look great. I was looking for something to paint apart from my stash of WW2 15mm's and Majestic 13 looks perfect :). Thank you, and I'm going to look at the previous how-to paint that you mentioned.

      Ooh, definitely keen on seeing that one! I'm really glad to hear of more people actually playing the game; it's a great little spin around the block for some of the old monsters in my collection that I never thought would see the tabletop.

    • @SonicSledgehammerStudio
      @SonicSledgehammerStudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      You could even lean into the vibe with the miniatures and scenery you choose; the game's deliberately pretty open-ended on how you represent things on the tabletop.

      Would need a couple of nice boards, ufo crash retrieval, alien 👽 base and human base oh and a town defence board, hmm could get into this 🤔

    Neat very neat need too get some of my wargames Atlantic miniatures together but sadly my plastic magic glue seems too have gone bad somehow.

    Can't find these om Wargames website. What are they called and did you 3D print them?

    • @SonicSledgehammerStudio
      @SonicSledgehammerStudio  ปีที่แล้ว

      These are prints; they aren't on the WGA main site, they're on the Wargames Atlantic MyMiniFactory page linked in the description, where you can also order physical prints if you don't have a machine. Or, with a little luck, TH-cam will show the link in this comment: www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-281552

    Fantastic work and i will be using this guide. Thanks for sharing this. Where did the arms with AK rifles come from though? I have looked on the Wargames Atlantic link for parts but so far have not found anything?

    • @SonicSledgehammerStudio
      @SonicSledgehammerStudio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The AK arms come in the pack with the rest of these women. Since TH-cam doesn't like links in comments, I've updated the description with specific links.

    Do you have a recipe for marine juice using non-GW ingredients?

  • @jakec5550
    @jakec5550 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Would Vallejo's "Thinner Medium" or "Retarder Medium" work in place of "Lahmian Medium" in making my own marine juice if I don't have any Lahmian to hand? Just curious if there are special properties for Lahmian that aren't present in Vallejo's offerings. Great videos so far! Really getting inspired for Majestic 13.

    • @SonicSledgehammerStudio
      @SonicSledgehammerStudio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      "Possibly" is about as good an answer as I can give. The Thinner Medium would be worth a try. Retarder Medium slows drying time in whatever it's mixed into; I've used that on a few things and it's not really the same thing. Ultimately, mix up a few drops of Thinner, Reikland and Dark Tone and see what you get on a few primed spares.
