Hi David, just came across your videos. Very refreshing to hear your viewpoints! I agree on the 43, but also 28 and I was blessed to be able to get both in the last 4 months. I also changed my 43 body color to black using the Alphagvrd product. And removed the red dot as well with the black screw dot. I also have the RRS l-bracket grip and it is very comfortable and functional for me. They are amazing machines and potential is really there. As for adobe, I didn't get an increase because I paid for year up front. And costs have not changed in many years, and I use LrC and PS almost everyday. Thanks for your thoughts, I did subscribe and like. Look forward to more of your videos, especially on the 43.
Boker tov David. I recently discovered your videos and look forward to each one. In terms of Adobe, I used to use a wet darkroom. If I used it anywhere as often as I use Lightroom I would spend a great deal more on chemicals and gear than I do on my monthly LR subscription. It is an amazing software package. Enjoy the Q3.
Happy New Year David and Yasmeena! Congratulations on the decision to get the Q3-43. Beautiful camera and very capable. You indeed do have a great camera line up. As far as Adobe price increase, if you think it's worth it with the increase then continue to use it. If you don't think it's worth it to you then don't continue to use it. Other peoples thoughts on why "I" shouldn't use this or that doesn't mean a damn thing to me. Complaining is easy, doing is harder.

How dare Adobe to do that to me, now I am gone, etc. This increasingly egocentric sense of everybody owes me, I am the greatest and I need to have it all, best for free. I could not agree more with you 😀🙌🏽
I agree with your thoughts on Adobe. I looked at my workflow and thought about ways to avoid the $240 a year but then the features and convenience won out. Great value for the money and well worth the price they are charging. I have the Leica Q2 and love it. I can’t justify upgrading to the Q3 but adding the Q3 43 sounds like a worthwhile goal to save for and experience that longer focal length and APO lens. Thanks for the video!
Good Monday morning David. Haven’t seen a Q3 43 in the flesh so to speak but getting it recovered seems like a good idea. What was Leica thinking? I like my black Q1. As a non professional and retired, it makes no financial sense for me (and others like me I would have thought) to pay for a subscription post processing model so I have invested in the Nik Collection for my workflow which is exclusively Monochrome in any event. Silver Efex 7 fits the bill. Also they’re directly approachable if there are problems! Enjoy your coffee…✌️
Good morning and happy New Year Markie 😀 Yes, I am totally with you in terms of the Q1 (a terrific camera) and the Nik collection etc. As i said in my video and above (see my answer to Rodney), it is the increasingly dominant sense of entitlement. You are not running around accusing Adobe of whatever, same with me and expensive cars, flats whatever. Certain things either make no sense or are simply unattainable and this is life. But creating shitstorms and tsunami waves on social media is pathetic and ridiculous. Have a nice day and hope to see you soon again 😀🙌🏽
Greed is doubling the cost. Actually I usually use Capture One, but had to switch to Lightroom for my Hasselblad. Now I'm selling the Hasselblad. Back to Capture One.
No, I won't, I really see a place and I love the camera. It started my path of slimming down, focusing on the essential and it creates wonderful photos with their own aura and style. Thanks so much for your comment and support. 😀😜
I agree with your camera choice but not with your editor rationale. But I edit little. I shoot more. ;o)
I edit very little because I take care of as much as possible while taking my photos.
