    Yes, it's really a paradox. I went through a period of very great danger to my life, back in the 1990s, and I managed the situation in making myself a total servant to the universe, and other people around me. I abandoned all fight, while I was treated by some people very unjustly, I did not complain.
    Instead, I was studying both Christian and Buddhist writings and learnt that the personal ego is not in control of our real good life. When we practice wu wei, nonaction, for a certain time, there are connections with people to come about, and suddenly we feel we can help others who are much worse off than ourselves. And then, not resisting, but doing the work that the universe wants us to do, in helping others around us, a new energy comes up, and a silent transformation takes place that is really miraculous.
    I believe the universe is benevolent ... yes. I experienced it many times.

    Beyond the intellect and into the sublime. Ram Dass is relaxed, trusting and deeply in the moment, his answers are deep but seem very authentic to me. Jeffrey Mishlove does a great job too in pushing the boundaries of someone who is off the page, both intellectually and spiritually.

    • @tnolte
      @tnolte 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      very true. Mishlove may not be as in touch as RD (it's a competition, you see :P) but he's very close as far as i can tell

      Peter Marshall I feel compelled to watch this video every few months. At a higher-level I connected with this the first time that I watched it and that was it for me. But on a lower-level I feel the conscious need to watch it again every few months, and re-connect... and then I realise how much I've forgotten in the meantime. If only I could have all of this wisdom at the forefront of my consciousness each day. Though sadly I can't.

      Don't do anything if you don't want to. As Dass says himself, all methods are a trap (which we use to set ourselves free.) But at the heart of it, we are already free! Trust the process, simply allow your heart to open, and it shall.
      Namaste brother.

    Awesome. I'm thinking about starting my own religion, or organization, or something, to propel consciousness towards re-awakening...
    That way the people in control will start to remember who they are, and the connection between all things shall manifest into a new reality...where anything is possible.

    In dzogchen the highest teaching from tibet we say do not accept or reject anything. Leave things as they are As it is. this maintains a high degree of awarness and clarity of perception. j krishnamurti says:: seeing, just see it as it is. in this non action of seeing all qualities will arise spontanously from moment to moment and will appear as action but without a doer doing anything.
    Accepting everything as it is still a condition in the mind a subtle clinging a computer program of the brain. This will lead to problems because everyone can not afford to maintain this mental attitude/setting at all times.

    YOU CANNOT WIN A LIFE - YOU EARN ONE - GROW ONE - BY LEARNING - WHICH STRETCHES THE LITTLE BUNDLE OF POTENTIALS YOU ARE GIFTED WITH - INTO A GREATER CREATION.WE ARE BOUND TO BE CREATIONS MORE PROFOUND THAN NAIVE INNOCENT IGNORANT HELPLESS INFANTS.MEN AND WOMEN ABLE TO STAND ON THEIR OWN FEET HAVING GROWN ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR LIVES.ADULTS LIVE - THEY DON'T PLAY AT LIVING.THEY HAVE GROWN TO BE REAL - THE REAL THING - SOLID AND POWERFUL AND TRULY CARING.LIFE HAS GROWN THEM INTO AN IMAGINATION NO CHILD CAN UNDERSTAND.IT REQUIRES EXPERIENCE - THE LIVING THROUGH THIS PUZZLEMENT - THIS LIFE - THAT STRETCHES AND GROWS - TRANSFORMS EACH OF US WHO DARES IT- LETS IT CHANGE THEM - INTO THE WORK OF ART - THE INDIVIDUAL - IT WAS INTENDED - MEANT TO BECOME.NOT WANTING THAT TO HAPPEN TO YOU - REFUSING - OR ESCAPING THAT PROCESS - DECIDING TO REMAIN STUCK AT SOME LEVEL - STUCK IN THE MUD - LIKE IN INFANCY - MAKES IT INSTANTLY YOUR FINISH - A DEAD ENDING.YOU HAVE CHOSEN WHERE YOU WILL REMAIN TIL THE END OF YOUR TIME IN THIS HERE AND NOW.A PRETTY BORING PICTURE-A STILL PHOTO THAT NEVER COMES TO LIFE.
