Watching Angelina over the last three years I've been surprised just how many times she can grab your attention right from the start and make you hear ther lyrics like it's the first time. I prefer many of her covers over the original. For example, I'm a long-time fan of Lana del Rey, but Angelina's cover of Born to Die is incredible.
Yeah it is! She killed that one. I have a friend who resisted my initial attempts to turn her into an Angel, but she crumbled when I sent her links to "Born to Die" (she loves Lana) and "Stay" (her fav Rihanna song) and "All I Ask" (huge Adele fan). Chalk up one more Angel!

Wow, I have seen that “dreamy face” many times when people react to AJ. I know the exact feeling. Some of her songs hit you in just a few seconds. There are reactors that pause after 5 seconds, take a deep breath, and then continue. There is something mesmerizing about her voice and how it resonates with your soul. She is a master of “Less is More”. She has a knack for taking an old classic, making it her own, and lifting it to levels unheard of but with a lot of respect for the original.
At some point, most of us shut out the emotional memories of our childhood. Then we forget we forgot and have a harder time being compassionate for children when they are upset. It’s harder to relate because we’re being reminded of emotions we tried to suppress. As children, we experience raw emotion more intensely than perhaps any other time in our lives. Angelina’s gift is reminding us of our own emotions in such a beautiful and generous way that we can feel our own pain is redeemed.
This performance is definitely a top 10 song for me & since I believe Angelina has recorded about 50 songs that I consider vocal Masterpieces, this is the best of the best, of the best. Ten years old and every time I hear her sing this song, it gives me chills! When I first heard she was a child prodigy and a young girl with an old soul, I was like I get it. Man, ever since I discovered her when she appeared on America's Got Talent The Champions 2020 (she won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 years old in 2014 and was invited to be on AGT), I listen to this young lady every day.....EVERY DAY. As mentioned she was still 10 when this was recorded.... about 1.5 years went by during the time it was eventually leaked, grabbed by a fan, and this video was put together and released on TH-cam. That explains why there are some video elements of Angelina at 12 in the video.

There's been a mystery concerning why this song was never released by Angelina? She arranged this rendition but for reasons unsubstantiated, her mom didn't want it released. It is thought by many to be the best she has ever done, sounding as if she was an adult singing about a love she was yearning for. One point is that she was only 10, and perhaps that is why her mom felt she wasn't ready 'officially' release anything. There is a connotation late in the song where she talks about being willing to hold her head below water (self inflicted drowning) and perhaps that is why it remained in 'Demo Mode'. One of the writers was Baby Fuzz and he took Angelina's arrangement and released it with himself singing it, but it went nowhere. Had Angelina released this, it would have 'zoomed' up the charts but up until now, no firm reasons have come forth about why it was not released? Note: Angelina's mom is quite strict about the lyrics concerning songs Angelina sings. Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black' had a dark theme to it so Angelina changed the lyrics and it became 'Back In Love'. 'Rehab' by Amy was rewritten by Angelina to talk about not wanting to go back to school instead of a drug rehab facility. Even Angelina's rehearsal of Amy's 'I'm No Good' was changed to 'I'm So Good'. 'Gloomy Sunday', which she sang when she was 7, had a sad message but nothing more than that, so her mom Sara allowed her to sing it in the NGT competition.

She was 14 when she dropped it, in the first stages of Covid, and she offered it "to anyone who has ever lost a loved one. " it's worth seeing it (I love the live studio version best. ) Her cover of Adele's MILLION YEARS AGO is stunning .. as is her cover of Rihanna's STAY .. I'm still holding out for you a song written by Brandon Lowry, "also goes by Baby Fuzz," Ronny Janssen and Frida Amundsen went to 10-year-old Angelina with it and Angelina made this audio demo cut. Still, the rumor is Angelina's mother didn't like the ending lyrics referencing suicide and the demo cut was not released. Later the demo was pirated from Angelina, and pictures were added and put online at the same time the song was released by Baby Fuzz caused some confusion. Still, the rumor is that all parties agreed to leave Angelina's pirated cut on U-tube. Hi Anthony there are a lot of rumours. The song was written by Baby Fuzz but actually this is her song because she sang it first but only as a demo. I think it's quite simple, the song would have gone through the roof and for her 10 years on this song and the way she is protected by her family it would have been too soon with the hype that followed and as mentioned would have been without a record deal it would have been difficult to release this song and only others would have benefited from it. but that's just a guess on my part

This great song was written by Baby FuzZ (Brandon Lowry also known as Sterling Fox) who later recorded his own version. We don't know why Angelina's family never pursued having that recording officially released but someone leaked it on a TH-cam video. Thankfully, everyone involved with that song is now ok with the leaked version. Many angels (fans) believe this is one of Angelina’s best performances.

Lets face it Angelina is a generational talent. This song by Angelina was leaked sometime after it was used by Baby Fuzz as a demo. He knew he written a great song but could not get a record company interested. At 10 Angelina already had interest in anything she produced. Someone at the studio justifiably proud leaked it. A fan made the photomontage later so that's why there are photos as old as 12. Angelinas mum did not like the lyrical content of this for a 10 year old so she had no interest in getting out. It would also have blown up if it got when she was 10, which let us face it was not the slow organic build her parents wanted for her ultimate welfare.

I said to myself then who the heck is this girl why haven't I ever heard of her why isn't she opening at the Grammy awards shows ? Watching Angelina over the last three years I've been surprised just how many times she can grab your attention right from the start and make you hear ther lyrics like it's the first time. I prefer many of her covers over the original. For example, I'm a long-time fan of Lana del Rey, but Angelina's cover of Born to Die is incredible.
Yeah it is! She killed that one. I have a friend who resisted my initial attempts to turn her into an Angel, but she crumbled when I sent her links to "Born to Die" (she loves Lana) and "Stay" (her fav Rihanna song) and "All I Ask" (huge Adele fan). Chalk up one more Angel!
I’ve created a TH-cam playlist of about 50 songs and have shared it with several people. They are blown away by her. Don’t know if they are full blooded Angels yet but they are very impressed.

Ten years old and every time I hear her sing this song, it gives me chills! When I first heard she was a child prodigy and a young girl with an old soul, I was like I get it. Man, ever since I discovered her when she appeared on America's Got Talent The Champions 2020 (she won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 years old in 2014 and was invited to be on AGT), I listen to this young lady every day.....EVERY DAY. My day doesn't feel complete if I don't hear some songs from her. The best rabbit hole I have ever been down in! Please tell your friends about her and spread the word. I'm pretty confident they will be amazed by her singing as well as her as a person!
One thing that we all love is the fact that as a young singer, she can go so low with her vocals. another thing is the skilled vibrato, sometimes so subtle, you almost miss it.

Why does Angelina sing barefoot? The answer may bring a tear to your eye. It is related to a promise she made to herself and to the world when she was only 6 years old. She was traveling in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own favorite shoes. Angelina ask the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said a doctor, but she could not because she had to take care of her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina said I want to sing for the world. The young girl said she would pray for Angelina. Since then, Angelia has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. She even donated her winnings from Norway's Got Talent to charities. She is a special individual, and one you cannot follow without developing an emotional bond.

I would hardly characterize Republic Records efforts to promote her while she was in school as "overexposure" regardless if it was in any agreement or not.
As mentioned she was still 10 when this was recorded.... about 1.5 years went by during the time it was eventually leaked, grabbed by a fan, and this video was put together and released on TH-cam. That explains why there are some video elements of Angelina at 12 in the video.

I guess that’s what defines prodigy, eh? Angelina is far more than a vocal prodigy tho. Her understanding of music theory, poetry, storytelling and her raw intellect is off the charts. I’m lucky to have discovered her when she was young so have followed her journey in real time. So rare to be able to do that with a prodigy; gratitude to her family for sharing and nurturing her genius while protecting her from exploitation.

There's been a mystery concerning why this song was never released by
Angelina? She arranged this rendition but for reasons unsubstantiated,
her mom didn't want it released. It is thought by many to be the best she
has ever done, sounding as if she was an adult singing about a love she
was yearning for. One point is that she was only 10, and perhaps that is
why her mom felt she wasn't ready 'officially' release anything. There is a
connotation late in the song where she talks about being willing to hold
her head below water (self inflicted drowning) and perhaps that is why it
remained in 'Demo Mode'. One of the writers was Baby Fuzz and he took
Angelina's arrangement and released it with himself singing it, but it went
nowhere. Had Angelina released this, it would have 'zoomed' up the charts
but up until now, no firm reasons have come forth about why it was not
released? Note: Angelina's mom is quite strict about the lyrics concerning
songs Angelina sings. Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black' had a dark theme
to it so Angelina changed the lyrics and it became 'Back In Love'. 'Rehab' by
Amy was rewritten by Angelina to talk about not wanting to go back to
school instead of a drug rehab facility. Even Angelina's rehearsal of Amy's
'I'm No Good' was changed to 'I'm So Good'. 'Gloomy Sunday', which she sang

Wonderful reaction! There are quite a few unsubstantiated rumors as to why this song was not released by Angelina. The only "truth" thus far, is that we do not know why. Until such time as Angelina or her team provide a statement, all we can do is be grateful that we are able to enjoy this masterpiece from a 10 year old! Hardly anyone knows the original of Baby Fuzz and if this song will be famous it's only thanks to hers fantastic interpretation, for me is definitely one of the songs (you can't call them covers, such personal interpretations) most representative of her musical baggage, she has made a really fantastic version of it, with superb register changes and tone.

I'm still holding out for you a song written by Brandon Lowry, "also goes by Baby Fuzz," Ronny Janssen and Frida Amundsen went to 10-year-old Angelina with it and Angelina made this audio demo cut. Still, the rumor is Angelina's mother didn't like the ending lyrics referencing suicide and the demo cut was not released. Later the demo was pirated from Angelina, and pictures were added and put online at the same time the song was released by Baby Fuzz caused some confusion. Still, the rumor is that all parties agreed to leave Angelina's pirated cut on U-tube. Amazing reaction, man. Many have felt the same way as you I guess, when listening to this one. This was recorded shortly before her 11th birthday, but she was still 10. It just goes to show what extraordinary talent this girl has. And you spoke to it yourself, that you can relate to the lyrics, despite the fact that it is being performed by a young child. It's the way she emotes, you really FEEL it in your soul when she sings. Personally I like to call her the soul whisperess😉 She just has this very rare ability, which is all but lost in most singers today. We gotta protect her, and I love your appreciation for her. Btw, I've been subscribed to ThatSingerReacts for many years, as her is a giant fan of her. He has said countless times in his reactions that to him, she is the best female singer he has ever listened to. And he's not alone in saying so. Baby FuzZ and 3 others wrote this song at a Music Camp. He actually performed the “Cover” that Angelina had already recorded in 2016, at 10. Demo or not, it was published, uploaded, on Nov. 11, 2018. I love that the person who made this video put in the last images, Angelina playing in the mud at the age of 10. To show the stark contrast between the person performing this song with the soul of a seasoned singer and the 10-year-old she really was at the time. To repeat what someone wrote in a comment trying to sum up Angelina Jordan Astar in one sentence: "The strange case of Angelina Jordan". I simply don't understand how she does it. It's a total mystery to me.

Hi Anthony there are a lot of rumours. The song was written by Baby Fuzz but actually this is her song because she sang it first but only as a demo. I think it's quite simple, the song would have gone through the roof and for her 10 years on this song and the way she is protected by her family it would have been too soon with the hype that followed and as mentioned would have been without a record deal it would have been difficult to release this song and only others would have benefited from it. but that's just a guess on my part

Angelina recorded this demo on January 3, 2017 which was 7 days before her 11th birthday! This great song was written by Baby FuzZ (Brandon Lowry also known as Sterling Fox) who later recorded his own version. We don't know why Angelina's family never pursued having that recording officially released but someone leaked it on a TH-cam video. Thankfully, everyone involved with that song is now ok with the leaked version. Many angels (fans) believe this is one of Angelina’s best performances.

Lets face it Angelina is a generational talent. This song by Angelina was leaked sometime after it was used by Baby Fuzz as a demo. He knew he written a great song but could not get a record company interested. At 10 Angelina already had interest in anything she produced. Someone at the studio justifiably proud leaked it. A fan made the photomontage later so that's why there are photos as old as 12. Angelinas mum did not like the lyrical content of this for a 10 year old so she had no interest in getting out. It would also have blown up if it got when she was 10, which let us face it was not the slow organic build her parents wanted for her ultimate welfare.

Famously said of Angelina( after he invited her to perform with a full orchestra at his birthday) that she was The most talented child singer since Michael. Well he should know. I bow to 80 years at the top of the music industry. He is one-off many in the industry who hold the same opinion. Who am I to quibble?
I agree My mom always told me everything happens for a reason. I discovered Angelina during the Covid deal while listening to the AGT Golden Buzzers on my computer. I said to myself then who the heck is this girl why haven't I ever heard of her why isn't she opening at the Grammy awards shows ? Then around a year after folks were saying she's an Angel sent to help us through the covid. I thought then sounds kind of goofy. Now days I'm thinking that's not that crazy really. She sings like an Angel. Ya feel her music down into your soul. She takes ya to another Dimension. She's an Angel I'm my books and she's the G.O.A.T. IMO!
