Just to let you know Angelina has had no better champion to get people aware of Angelina since before 2017 when I showed up spouting her talents. In fact Rusty corrected me several times as I had mismangled information on Angelina. He has a listing of her first 150 songs in chronological order. So if you want to know how old Angelina was when she sang a song he's the one you should refer to.
She actually sanged thus song during her completion on Norway got talent. She was 7 years old then. Check it out.

Norway’s Got Talent
Charity, she donated the 80 thousand dollars she won on Norway’s Got Talent Angelina Jordan won Norway’s Got Talent at the age of 8 in 2014, the prize for winning was eighty thousand dollars, this money was donated to children’s charities. At age 8 her first charity performance was in Germany to raise money for heart disease. Again, at age 8 she does a telethon for Plan International Children’s Charity. Still at age 8 she performs for Norwegian Sea Rescue Society Charity. On the 12th of Dec still at age 8, she performs at Save The Child Nobel Peace Prize, 4 days later, even though she has a very bad cold, she performs for the Swedish Heroes Foundation against her doctor's orders. At age 10 she performed for the Norwegian Refugee Council Charity. Also age 10 she performed in Seoul in South Korea for Rotary International to raise money for children’s vaccinations.
Angelina Jordan comes from a very wealthy family and does need the money, she, and her family want to share her wonderful talent with the world. This is what makes AJ and her family so very special. This information was on Alan's Pod Cast.

Tiny Little Girl
Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice was 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Benchmark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve. I have a number of pictures of celebrities whose height is known, for example, Austin Butler, who played Elvis, is 6ft tall, and AJ published a picture of her standing next to him, she was at least 1 inch taller than him, and she had to look down at him.

Agree, Anthony is a bit limited on his knowledge of all the great artists that have inspired Angelina's music, Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, Louie Armstrong and so on and hopefully he will research and listen to these great artists of the past that influenced so much of today's music....well the good music anyway. We here in the States are well aware of all these artists, I grew up listening to many of them from my parents playing "78's" , precursor to to the "33" LP vinyl's back in the day....I am dating myself I guess. Hope Anthony will take the time to listen to them....he is quite talented rapper and could actually learn a bunch from the past....as Angelina has.

Did you notice how she touched her flower halo and glanced upwards just before she started to sing? I believe she was paying her respects to Billie Holliday then. There's one other time I have noticed this same gesture, it's when she entered the booth to sing 'I Put a Spell on You'.. she was paying her respects to Screaming Jay Hawkins then.

Nice reaction! I find it kind of sweet that she's looking for approval from her Grandma Mery, the person who is taking the video. They have a real close relationship and it was Mery who introduced Angelina to jazz and Angelina just totally fell in love with the genre. If you didn't know, Billie Holiday is Angelina's biggest musical influence. She once said that if there were no Billie Holiday, there would be know Angelina Jordan! Wow, what a thing to say!

When I first heard her say that about herself and Billie Holiday, my first thought was "My God, does she KNOW she is Billie and many other Jazz greats reincarnated"!!!

She seemed to be satisfied with this take. In the end she says: "Det var kjempebra!" which means "That was really good!"
In front of Angelina is a glass window where she can see the Band playing. There is another tape of this recording in a-cappella and she removes her ear phones so we can hear the music playing in her ear. In this one, someone added the music, I personally like the a-cappella version better. Thank you for a great reaction.

Angelina enjoys impressing her grandma Mery, AJ's grandmother, Mery Zamani, is a famous artist and poet and was a child prodigy and has been a major force in AJ's upbringing. There is no way you can experience Angelina Jordan without becoming very emotional. This being moves mountains. Grandma Mery spent so much time with Angelina picking songs for her to perform from Mery's past, and it is very obvious, they have this very special rapport.

Norway's Got Talent, America's Got Talent (Champions), Nobel Prize Ceremony, Quincy Jones' Birthday Celebration (at his invitation) at O2 Arena, opening for Norah Jones, National TV appearances, opening a movie soundtrack, outdoor concerts, signed with Republic Records as their Highest Priority, and the list goes on, all before the age of 16.
It is true that she was born with more talent than most musical groups have in aggregate (IMHO), but the amount of focused work that it took at achieve all this is mind-blowing.
This audition brings forth the most unique aspects of singing she learned
from Billie Holiday. Phrasing, nuance, inflections, breathy releases and a
host of other elements that made Billie the most improvisational jazz singer
of all time and someone who Angelina said is the reason we have Angelina
Jordan as the singer she is.

She has the bluest soul music that we don't hear much of anymore. Billy Holiday is legendary for her blues singing. This is a genre of music I haven't heard since the forties. Truly exquisite breathiness and vocal manipulation. You have some of her "old soul" music, but it shows more in self-reflective rapping. Thanks for showcasing this song. ❤
Angelina Jordan knows full well how great she is, remember you are dealing with a genius that writes beautiful lyrics, is the youngest author that Norway has ever had, and she rearranges every cover she performs to make them her own, and much better than they were performed when they first became popular. Because of her family's wealth she could do nothing but enjoy her life, but she chose to spread joy throughout the world with her phenomenal talent.

Another thing that's amazing is Angelina's ability to switch rapidly from communicating with her grandmother back to full concentration to start singing the next part as well as reading the lyrics on her phone at the same time without missing a beat.
The truth is you are in the direction of what happens when Angelina sings. She herself said in one of her interviews, which is also on TH-cam, that while she sings and her eyes roll back, she simply feels an out-of-body experience, she moves to a place that is all good and quiet, and that's what we feel when she sings exactly. She takes us there with her 🦶🦶👑🗣🎙🎷

Both Diana Ross and Andre Day have done Billie Holiday films wonderful performances and Angelina is on par, but with a tinge more style!
