Great debate guys. Really enjoyed the show. A good place to know what is coming down the pipeline with regards to guidance or legislation is the IET discussion forum. I also totally agree that all the CPS should have alerted all their members that this was in progress.

I am not an installer but a spark to the 17 edition. I used to have comply to a PAS document for the Asbestos industry as a manufacture of equipment that is now a BS.
The document can and will be hard to use in real life situations. Be very careful on the text font normal versus italics.
What they say and mean “fixing the bracket to the wall with fixings”. You could use screw and plug?
Then under that note “ using wall anchors with oversized washer” is what they really would like you to use. It is a lot of reading between the lines.

My camera (mark) is only HD rather than 4k for Sam 🤣. I might downgrade mine to analog for less trauma to viewers. I have moved things around a bit. You live and learn. Lumix cameras are renowned for terrible autofocus sadly
