    Thanks for the video! I put the cavity tray on the back in the elastic strap so it doesn't take space from the cards and it doesn't get in the way of pushing cards out with the cutout.

      That’s a cool idea too! I’ve decided I definitely don’t care for the noise the coins make, but I may use it as a cash pocket!

    They probably also intended for you to put it at the back with the coins not facing the cards. Not sure why they didn't line it with felt or something though to dampen the sound from the metal hitting the sides or sliding around in there.

    • @BUCKSGEARBOX
      @BUCKSGEARBOX  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah possibly so. It is lined with a very thin layer of some material but it doesn’t really give much or absorb the sound any.

    Very nice video! I was thinking about getting a ridge myself (as it looks very clean and compact), but since I live in a country where we still use coins a lot, and I was wondering if ridge can help with that too. Unfortunately it seems that the tray capacity is rather limitted (which makes sense considering the design), so I think this type of wallet is not for me just yet. Thanks to your video, I was able to get an idea of how much I can fit into it though, so thank you for that!

      Glad to help! I love the Ridge wallet; but yea the coin tray is pretty limited. A viewer recommended using it for cash instead of the cash strap. I may try that out sometime and see if I dig that ;)

    A see a few issues with this tray. 1) You can keep only a few coins in there, so more than one tray is needed 2) You have to be careful when taking out this tray to not loose your coins, keys.

    • @BUCKSGEARBOX
      @BUCKSGEARBOX  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, and not sure two trays would even work (maybe, but then it at least gets more bulky)… and yeah dropping and losing things could be a huge bummer. Didn’t think of that. Thanks for the comment!!

    I use a rossm but it is similar to the ridge I see the cavity tray as a more convenient and secure way to carry three or four folded notes so you could then ditch the strap and clip but a lot of people use the clip to attach the wallet to a pocket

    They should’ve padded the inside with thin rubber. But it’s really only meant for temporary use so when you’re out you don’t have loose change in your pockets. Not meant to always have change in it.
