The best for me are the Birks Defender Kevlar boots, more or less bulletproof.

I’ve literally bought dozens at all prices. I’ve recently started motor bike boots . They are comfy, waterproof and toe protection. It’s the way ahead!

Dewalt lasted me 2 months whilst scaffolding, timberland pros last about 1 year but Ive found Engelbert Strauss boots just keep going, all I did was done is add an inner sole after 2 years. I’ve just brought their lightest boot with wires instead of laces, they have really helped my back and knees with the reduced weight. They are slightly more expensive but it’s worth the money in opinion.

Its mad isn't it i had the engelbert strauss boots lasted two weeks before the toe went to hole .dewalts lasted me over two years Alex so total opposite for both of us .Must be down to our different jobs i guess 👍🙌

    Hi Justin.
Only worn Grisport safely boots for the last 6 years, worn multiple pairs of there walking shoes for years before that. Once I discovered they make safety boots ,it was a done deal never goin to wear another brand again. They have a good range, dealer boors, safety shoes etc. Mine last about 12 months, I don't see how any work boot could last longer. I have the standard style like you have shown with bumper caps over the steel toe caps. Im working on my knees a lot as well.
Thanks justin. Keep the content coming 👍

Tried various and settled on the Dewalt Newark which look similar to what you have I think. Waterproof and not too heavy, comfy, steel toe cap and midsole. Found cement dust tends to dry out leather so making more of an effort to look after the new pair so cleaning leather and putting wax on helps keep the leather from drying out and cracking. And Bridgedale Summit socks

    Hi Justine
I wear slippers now lol ! But I had a pair of dewalt waterproof boots with the aluminium toe protection so they are nice and light not like divers boots pal , sprayed them with water repellent then every week Then and here is the key threw the insoles away and put some sketchers insoles in from their shop , it was like walking on a bed and my feet were as dry and warm ! Hope your well mate and looking forward to warmer weather pal , all the best to the lads mate ❤👍

Honestly, I’ve spent a lot on boots, Stanley are rubbish, DeWalt are good, bought a pair of Buckler for £90 that lasted me only four months (despite washing down daily and treating weekly) but surprisingly best pair I’ve had (water resistant, not proof) were a pair of Scruffs for £25 that I bought as a temporary replacement for my Buckler’s, super comfortable and lasted 2 years 🤷‍♂️
Just goes to show price doesn’t always guarantee quality

I’ve had buckler , v12 , jallett all very comfy but you get a year to 1.5 years out of them all
Next pair will be cat or steel blue as I like the high ankle support

Site - screwfix boots are decent quality for decent price. I don't look at work boots to wear them for years. I look at the price, comfort, durability. If they last me a year that's impressive, but in the same time they already look horible and i want something fresh. So i rather replace boots more frequently with lower price than buy some expensive and wear them for many years. Because construction is what it is - a dirty job...
P.s. i always replace original insoles to something more cushoning.

Just need to maintain the leather like any boot if want to last its them constantly getting wet in muck cement or water suppression on saw. Find super comfortable and high ankle protection and good heel. Suit me. Keeps old feet super dry 1,s on the now are getting kinda goosed leather getting tired across the top foot.
