    Always appreciated! Last week you made a video on how you prep for an encounter. Could you make a video on actually running a fight? How do you keep track of monsters/NPCs (HP, skills, spells, etc), everyones initiative, lair actions, all this fun stuff. Thanks again for making these!

      Sure thing, I can put together a video on running the combat :)

    What a phenomonal how-to video! I can't wait to watch the DM/GM how-to videos! Thank you so much!

    I've used MS-Office for years, but only after watching your videos found some actual use of OneNote. Thank's a big bunch :-)

    I'm currently in the middle of overhauling my notes into this format, I think it's going to be a major improvement from loose google drive docs and files. I play in a west marches type setting, as in many dms and even more players so keeping track of information is a really important asset. We've been using World Anvil as well, which is a tool I highly recommend but for my personal notes I'm going to switch over to OneNote, especially considering it's part of the whole office package which I already own so there is no reason not to (even though the basic version free anyway).

      I tried world anvil and think it's good as a tool to get you thinking about your world, but I prefer OneNote for having all the sections visible at all times so I can find info quickly.

      Yeah, I agree. Find-ability in OneNote is much better and quicker especially for your own notes. For me the value in World Anvil is, like you said, the world building tools, but also how you can share your world maps and world information with a large amount of players, usually a home game doesn't really need a tool like that but since we have like 25 regular players it's much easier to put it up on world anvil for the rest to see.

    Do you have a template for the character sheet? I highly doubt it but does it auto calculate bonuses and the like? Thats my biggest issue i currently have with with using onenote as a character sheet as well. But i do like the rest of the ideas. And i absolutely love how well the SRD copy and pastes into One note, thank you for that hint!

      Send over your email and I'll share the notebook with you.
      It doesn't automatically calculate bonuses etc, which is a drawback, but otherwise it works very well.

    Odd question how did you get the blue in the table

    • @IcarusGames
      @IcarusGames  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you click in a table, there are shading options up in the top of the program in the table options.
