Building off this, He in a watch along of the highlights with the cast revealed that his hand was shaking for the pipette part of the dish, nice to see babish being authentic 4:57
Honestly, Taz Skylar (Sanji's live action actor) probably had to prepare the most for his part, more than any other cast member, as he had train for cooking, martial arts and stunts, since the live action had minimum usage of stunt doubles.
@@Volti-Vagra Yeah ikr, that scene of Babish throwing away all the food into...oh wait we don't actually see him throw the food away do we. As far as I can tell everyone in the BCU hates food waste and do you really think they would throw away some of the most expensive fish meat in the world.
It would honestly be so cool if Taz, the actor who played Sanji, ever guest stars on the channel in another One Piece centered episode. He did such an amazing job with his work on the role, it would be awesome to see more of his culinary skills in a future video
Literally said "NO WAIT THE TUILE!" before you started cutting 😂 Though I'm sure the first dish didn’t go to waste you are right that it ties it altogether!
Whoa! Incredible job, Andy! I have to say this was the most impressive presentation that you have assembled in a long time. Could you please do your own take on the Fiesta Burrito with Chili and Eggs that Dan Aykroyd makes for Robert Stack in the food truck scene from Caddyshack 2?
After a year, I finally caught up to One Piece recent episode last Sunday. It's been a wild ride, and I'm looking forward to the next episode. I saw the cooking scenes on One Piece L.A. and Animated and I can see the animators and script writers did their research in cooking techniques. I love their food focused episodes, and that Sanji made a HUGE paella for the festival after defeating the Arlong Pirates. Even in my mid-40's, I love One Piece.
Andrew and Alvin it's Black history month and I need a remake! Can we give The Luther another go? It needs caramelized onions and Extra sharp cheddar cheese.
I got a suggestion for you. The dragon hearts from elden ring. I could see you using something like beef hearts for the heart itself I'm curious what you would replace the "gravel" spikes on it.
blending the herbs and oil together would’ve been better because it would’ve not only released more chlorophyll, but also the friction from the blades would’ve heated both the oil and the leaves, which in turn would facilitate more flavor transfer
Looking fantastic, but I need more than five drops of that oil for dunking the tuna and aspargus in if I'm going to bother with it. Maybe a little dipping bowl on the side, one with the oil, one with the marinade.
Great video🎉. You should try the parchment pan searing technique from chef steps to prevent the labor of seasoning your pan. Another thing is adding adding water to your onions and boiling them until all the water is evaporated. This quickens the caramelization process by drawing out the sugars during boiling.
Ah, CookUnity... for those days when I'm less Sanji and more Franky or Brook. "Sometimes you're working on a SUUUUUPER project and don't have the time!" "But we all need a stick-to-your-RIBS meal... even those of us who don't have stomachs! YO-HOHOHOHO..."
My sister has been trying to get me to watch One Piece for awhile now. My nephew even wants me to start the anime. They both hate anime but they fell inlove with the live action. Im a huge anime lover but never felt a draw towards One Piece. Might just watch the live for it though just for the culinary details
Are your hands okay Babish? I noticed throughout the video that they would shake quite a bit so I thought that might be a reason for concern. Nevertheless, awesome video!
It’s tribute to the actor who played Sanji. In a highlights interview, he pointed out that you can see his hands shaking in the final cut bc he was nervous and exhausted from the number of takes.
Great video as always Babish! I could't help to notice that babish is shaking quite a lot through out the video. I have not unfortunately, been keeping updates with Babish's latest events and news a part from his interview on "Eating your last meal". I can't remember him shaking so much in the earlier videos,
Bluefin tuna makes me think of the recipe Scientia-Style Sushi (which is a tuna sushi platter... on camping plates) from the Royal Edition of Final Fantasy XV. I'd love to see that recreated someday 😂
i get that but also it is not his kitchen it's a studio of a company for a youtube channel with 10 million subscribers, so don't let it make you think that you're like failing a goal by not having a kitchen like that. imo kitchen development is not a "save a bunch of money to buy a bunch of stuff" type thing, it's a slow and steady process of acquiring the ingredients and/or tools (though tools are usually not as big of a deal if you ask me once you start to get the basics) that make you inspired and happy in the kitchen. it's def an attainable thing but i think it's less about bluefin tuna or gas stoves as much as it is about finding what you like.

This is amazing 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Sanji is a rapiest FYI
WHAT
Andrew, why did you pin your own comment?
Fun fact: the guy who played Sanji in the live action one piece actually trained as a chef for 6 months and really cooked all the meals for the crew.

I swear anime writers/directors/animators put this delicious lookin food in anime on purpose just to see how many people make the recipes
