Thanks for the comprehensive review! I just bought a Trawo and tried the 4k@50fps but both Final Cut Pro X and Compressor report the clip as being 3840 x 2160 with 30.01 fps. On playback in FCPX there is crazy flickering too. Having reported this to Apeman support they sent me V3.1.0.3-A (to update from V3.1.0.2-A) which gave the same unsatisfactory results. I hope you don't mind me asking but did your issue with the 4k@50fps ever get resolved? 1080P@60fps seems to work well but I was hoping the Trawo would integrate seamlessly with my other camcorders being a bunch of Panasonic X900M. (I'm based in Switzerland thus the interest in 50 or 25fps) Many thanks in advance for your reply.
@@TechMishka It's sad that they brazenly print on the box and show in the settings that there is a 50fps option. What else can be 'untrue' about them? They've lost my trust completely. Got refunded but SO much time wasted!

I bought the action cam a100 like yours, but it does not read the sd card to me, I bought the one recommended by the action cam, the company said that it is a defect of the sd not of the action cam, I would like some advice which one you used ? Did you also follow the suggestions to format it as indicated in the manual?
The SD card can be formatted from the camera itself. If that doesn't work - try another microSD card and if a second one from a different brand doesn't work - ask for a replacement.
i'm looking for something to suspend above a table and run off the power cable instead of the battery and time lapse my artwork, would you recommend this camera for that purpose? , also would the image look bowed? any help would be greatly appreciated sir.
I'd go for 4K 30FPS. But if you prefer 60 FPS - 1080p will be fine too. Note that higher FPS increases the shutter speed, which will make quality worse if the light ins not good enough.
I would say this is a bought review. I bought the same thing off of Amazon and it was as the majority of the 1-3 star reviews stated: a highly under-par POS camera.
Maybe you mean a "paid review"? It is not - the camera is good. Not great, but for the price it's decent. Indoors it will always be poor, outdoors - very good on a bright shiny day.
I like the video, but you truly are bias when it comes to these camera reviews. I have watched a couple of them, and almost every single one you say the v50x is better. I really don’t understand where your getting that from to be honest. This cameras quality blows the v50x out of the water. It’s no GoPro Hero9, but the apeman A100 is definitely an amazing looking camera for the price. Wish the mic was better. Crank the decibels up in post and you should be good haha
Because the V50X was designed a long time before the Apeman A100 and has clearly better stabilization. You can notice some jello - especially the side by side comparison to the Omeplus 8 wide angle camera. As you may have probably noticed - there is no Akaso device included in my Top 5 video of 2020. And you have the Apeman A100 there! 😇

Still not properly working. Never seen 50FPS working well on a device with that kind of hardware.

It seems to depend on the clip. Most of the time it's 30-35.

You can try using a power bank and charge it while shooting. Should work fine.
