Nice video thank you!! I’m thinking of getting that same gun for daily carry! I have an accu shadow2 with lok grips I loooooove lok grips I got the palm swells too! Mine was turning white as well it sounds crazy but it’s skin on it I took mine off washed them with dish soap and a bristle brush and they look brand new!
Great gun, I carry mine everyday. Luckily I found a better holster for it on Academy Sports, is a universal holster made by Phalanx just a little modification and fits great.
@@katanapr3 I daily a glock 32 and had the same rust issues 😂 I work outdoors in the heat and that sweat will kill a gun quickly! My cz I shoot uspsa and three gun matches with. Thanks for the video I’m switching my daily to your gun for sure!
They were a small production I don't think they will make them again being that they were build using deferent Tanfoglio models parts. Is not even listed as a model on their catalogs. I had to cerakote it because the factory finish sucked, all the blueing on the back strap was gone after 2 weeks of carry and it developed some rust on the frame and slide.
@@RiflemanReveiws it is a great pistol, and yes I recommend it. Tanfoglio is well known in the competition world and their is a lot of aftermarket parts to make this gun even better.
I just stopped at my local gun shop and they have Tanfoglio Witness 10mm in stock. Is not the same model as mine. The differences are barrel, sights and grips. The one they have in stock doesn't have a bull barrel, the front sight is fixed and the rear is not adjustable and has plastic grips. It is also in what they call Wonder Finish, like a dull chrome.
@@katanapr3 I have been searching gunbroker and I see the wonder finish model. to be honest I want a model with a replaceable front sight. The stock III caught my attention.
Yes you are correct. At the time I did the video I didn't know much of the LOK grips. Then I found a video of grip maintenance and a little bit of oil and they are back to looking good.
Hey man, did you also replace the springs internally?Or just the guide rod spring? It is amazing to think you got the trigger weights down that low just by polishing the internals!
Only problem with that pistol was the blue finish that was poorly applied. Apparently Tanfoglio had a bunch of miss match parts and put a few of this pistols together and sold them as Witness Pro, there are not many of them. I call it the Frankenfoglio because of all the different gun parts used to build this gun. But after the Cerakote job is working fine and no signs of rust anywhere.
Nice job

I dish the cerakote job! I have been looking for one of these for a while now.

@@katanapr3 do you still recommend the pistol? I have a p220 in 10mm but this one caught my eye because of the cz 75 design and the increased capacity

Nice SA trigger pulls. I don't think the grips are fading, try oiling them to see if that helps.

Just polished the internals the only spring I changed was the recoil spring.
who makes the grips ?
LOK Grips
Cool. Budget 10mm that'll probably work.
After two weeks you are having problems. That's not good

Where are you carrying that ???? In a river?
Not in a river but in the humidity of Florida. I carry it anywhere 8 to 12 hours a day and the sweat caused the rust.
eeek. i don't trust it with those flaws.
