    I do have one. I especially like the sound when it’s plugged in. It doesn’t project acoustically like a Martin, but I wouldn’t expect it to at the price. Very well made, plays easy, and looks beautiful

    I’ve had one for almost 5 years that i use for fingerpicking, got it for my 70th birthday. Played it 4 or 5 times a day for the first 3 years until i wore out the plastic saddle. last week i called Gibson/ Hummingbird trying to buy a new compensated saddle. They are sending me a new saddle free of charge. once i receive it i am going to transfer the dimensions to a bone saddle.
    The only thing i would change on the Hummingbird Pro A/E is the saddle, plastics just doesn’t cut it

    cool video! have you gotten a chance to play the new Inspired by Gibson version? I'm curious to see how they compare.

    30 subscribers? You have way more than me. Probably because i never figured out how to upload a video off of my iPhone on to TH-cam. Weird random comment out of the way, i bought the new 2020 inspired by Gibson Hummingbird Pro 12 string guitar and it is a fabulous guitar. Sounds amazing plugged in and of course great unplugged as well. It does need a proper setup but all new guitars generally do to make them right for each player. Greetings from Virginia Beach. Oh and i subscribed to support ya too ! Cheers......

    I like that they changed the control location because I play Lefty and I would re-string it.

    I have a hummingbird with cutaway and is one of my favorite guitars, is true what you said, if you have a beautiful looking guitar it makes you play more, this guitar sounds amazing and what i don't like about the 2020 models is the electronic inside the guitar,
    Thank you for this video, take care.

      Yeah the electronics inside can be annoying, but it makes it look really clean since you cant see them :).

    Good demo.
    I recently bought one. The acoustic tone is nothing special but it's fine plugged in. The battery bag is held in place by Velcro, which came away from the guitar the first time I looked at the battery. I glued it back in and in future will open the bag to remove the battery, leaving it in place. The tuning doesn't hold well, even though it came with nice new D'Addarios. Hoping for an improvement there.
    There is a version of this guitar that has the same name but the tone controls and battery access are external. I would definitely recommend it in preference to mine.

    I'm from Brazil and I've been watching a lot of videos about this guitar. In the US people refer to it as a cheap guitar. But here and in most countries epiphones cost a fortune. Its so sad.

    Easy, take off the strings and change the battery; oops I put the battery in backwards. Oh, well I will loosen the strings again and put the battery back in! Personally I do not mind a slight visual impact of electronics. I am more concerned about the tonal quality and the Epiphone neck style. Good review video and entertaining as well.

      It works by nine volt battery, so it only fits in each designated pocket to rock

    I own one. And I am very new.I like it, however I probably would not have bought if the electronics were hidden.Hidden battery? No thanks.I bought it in March 2020 so I guess it was a 2019 model.

    • @fantasygirl773
      @fantasygirl773  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It gives the guitar a very nice look, but you do have to at least loosen the strings to get to the battery, if that sounds like something you would not like then you probably got the right one for you :) I quite like how it is hard to tell that the guitar is an electric acoustic.

      I'm can't express enough how much I love my original Epiphone Hummingbird I received for a birthday present. It's onboard preamp on the body is awesome. It only requires two little batteries in the preamp and it doesn't have a tuner but I don't use them anyway! It has a blend switch and a phase switch,EQ and kill switch! It's 369 dollars also!
