I have a Dove , which i like heaps , your playing seemed to strangle and muffle the sound from the strings . Sound is from the fingers , sorry but i did not hear the resonance from your guitar . I do like your exuberance for guitar playing .

Better comparison would have been the Gibson IBG hummingbird which goes for like $900... Solid back,sides n top..no case

I bought an epiphone Hummingbird in Facebook for about 220$, and it still look very good

i have one it sounds good plugged in not so good not plugged in the wood is much thinner than the gibson hummingbird

I upgraded from a Martin to a Epiphone inspired by Gibson Hummingbird. The Hummingbird plays and sounds so much better than the Martin. I paid over $3,000.00 for the Martin years ago.. and $900.00 for the Hummingbird. I tried some Taylor Guitars but didnt care that much for them. They are ok, but...no...Not for me... Go with "ᴛʜᴇ ᴇᴘɪᴘʜᴏɴᴇ ɪɴsᴘɪʀᴇᴅ ʙʏ ɢɪʙsᴏɴ ʜᴜᴍᴍɪɴɢʙɪʀᴅ"

I'm from Brazil and I've been watching a lot of videos about this guitar. In the US people refer to it as a cheap guitar. But here and in most countries epiphones cost a fortune. Its so sad.

I recently found one very similar to your guitar for sale with an extremely beautiful flamed top so well done you can only find on prs's, it's that great and i'm really tempted to buy it but i don't think it's gonna be available for too long u.u

The difference in sound quality is clear, I own a Mini GS and it inspires me to play because the audio fullness even on a small guitar. Love the large inlays of the Epiphone. Great video, you saved me some time when I go to the music store.

Good demo. I recently bought one. The acoustic tone is nothing special but it's fine plugged in. The battery bag is held in place by Velcro, which came away from the guitar the first time I looked at the battery. I glued it back in and in future will open the bag to remove the battery, leaving it in place. The tuning doesn't hold well, even though it came with nice new D'Addarios. Hoping for an improvement there. There is a version of this guitar that has the same name but the tone controls and battery access are external. I would definitely recommend it in preference to mine.

I have had one of these since 2013, amazing Les Paul, I have a Duncan Distortion in the bridge now but it’s my favorite Gibson.. I have the Alpine Burst.

Just watched you vid your T has a buitful flame top but the T truss rod cover has got to go how much did you pay for yours did you buy it brand new wat dose your other one look like

My sig _T same guitar same trust rod cover myn is tobaco burst and she is 9.8 lbs exactly how much did yours weigh my Gibson explorer is 8 lbs and believe this my Gibson V is 8.2 lbs the v is heaver than the explorer I changed my truss rod cover to a vintage 1961 my sig T is amazing I like the push pulls

When i saw this guitar in a store i was in love with the look , been playing since im 5 but didn’t get it now i went to get it and they totally ruined it its now a studio version thats aged cherry its sad i loved the gloss cherry sunburst finish to me that was the selling point the studio is kinda old matt looking which is not for me thanks great video your the only one that even mentioned the battery change hassle thanks 😊

Easy, take off the strings and change the battery; oops I put the battery in backwards. Oh, well I will loosen the strings again and put the battery back in! Personally I do not mind a slight visual impact of electronics. I am more concerned about the tonal quality and the Epiphone neck style. Good review video and entertaining as well.

I’ve had one for almost 5 years that i use for fingerpicking, got it for my 70th birthday. Played it 4 or 5 times a day for the first 3 years until i wore out the plastic saddle. last week i called Gibson/ Hummingbird trying to buy a new compensated saddle. They are sending me a new saddle free of charge. once i receive it i am going to transfer the dimensions to a bone saddle. The only thing i would change on the Hummingbird Pro A/E is the saddle, plastics just doesn’t cut it
