Hello. I really enjoy see and hear your reaction/analisys. A few info and curiosities: *In the swing scene (2:25), Furina is parodying the other actors: The first one is on a green background and is only swinging (Nahida), the second is on a cyan background and is playing a harp (Venti), the third is on a purple background and he is meditating (Raiden) and the fourth is with a yellow background and is throwing mora; the money in the world of Genshin (Zhongli... although here he departs from the canon, since we all know that "In terms of mora, Morax/Zhongli has no mora" jajaja XD). In addition, you can hear the sound of character switch between each swing ^^'. *Funny that he plays rock, paper, scissors with the crab, knowing that the crab will only get scissors (2:21). *10:39 She use a sword. *10:41 The reporter its Charlotte and yes, she looks soooo similar to a Star Rail character. And another fun fact, note the change of scene from Charlotte taking the photo are be sit in the rear in the 10:44. *The blonde girl is Navia. She appear a lot in the history and even you see she in the teaser "The Final Feast" you react previously, but like Clorinde (the purple girl that looks like a musketeer), they haven't come out yet, so there is no teaser or demo for them yet. *12:37 Yes, this demo its so weird/unusual in a good way XD. And, by the way, I recomend you so much react to the teaser of Furina. I bet you will find it very interesting and very different you see right now. Regards ^^
Watching the new genshin 4.2 trailer and Furina's teaser video could give you more insight to her character. I find her really interesting, like Fischl; in her own little world yet unblissfully aware of the heavy truth of reality. Can't wait for 4.2!
Venti marks the starting point of great demos, Zhongli's music is otherworldly good. Raiden took it to another level of epicness (is that even a word?) and hype, while Nahida's was just perfect and emotional. First I wasn't sure if I liked Furina's but after rewatching several times I enjoy the music as well as the fast pace. It doesn't feel to me like one big arc but snippets of her personality and worldview. All of the archon demos are just awesome in their way!
@@rengokiri Well, they can't flood it permanently otherwise we won't be able to explore The way they will flood it then how it will be undone will be pretty interesting (Also just a feeling but I don't think Furina will be able to fix it)
@@rengokiri Furina won't fix it I'm pretty sure, all of her trailer surrounds itself on the notion of fate and that's she's pretty much left it to fate itself to decide the outcome Furina at the end talks about overcoming fate and that we should be the ones to do it
Both Marco and Philip uploaded at the same time for Furina's trailer, one talks about music while the other talks about cinematography, at this point both of them better do a collab
There's a lot of interesting hidden things story-wise on this trailer. During the section with the swing at 2:25, she's basically doing nods to the Archons/Gods we've seen so far in the story. Green backround is Nahida, the Dendro Archon (she generally plays with a swing in both her own trailer and in game), cyan is Venti, the Anemo Archon (as shown by the harp she holds, since Venti is a bard), purple is Ei the Electro Archon (she does Ei's meditative stance) and yellow is Zhongli, the Geo Archon (shown by throwing Mora to the masses as he's the God of both Mora and Contracts amongst other things). The other interesting moment is during her little photoshoot moments. The roles of all the characters there are reversed. Childe being chased by the law while he's usually always able to escape, Neuvilette who is the Supreme Judge being captured by a mere detective with no actual authority, the two magicians having their roles flipped, Lynette (the girl) who is originally the assistant has now become the magician while her brother, Lyney, who is originally the magician has now become the assistant, Freminet who is otherwise an extremely skilled diver has his head stuck in his own diving helmet, and Wriothesley and Clorinde who are allies and have fought side by side are now dueling against each other. Furina is basically holding everyone's fates in her fingertips and she's just making her own little fantasies and fake realities to amuse herself, which is even more interesting because atm the story is heading towards a very grim and kinda morose direction. It's as if Furina is trying to deceive her own perception to phase out the real state of things. By far my favorite character trailer so far. It's so full of little hints and messages, with a really fun electroswing song and just enjoyable vibes all around.
You can also see charlotte trying to sneak a picture of furina before it shows furina behind the camera, with charlotte becoming confused in the audience
Really? i kanda see the photoshoot a little diferent, like Child being chased by Melusines is us the Traveler being chades by the milithet and child coming to rescue us, Navia and Neuvi is Signora and Venti when she took his gnosis and her goons stopped us from helping him. the twins representing Nahida in her cage. Freminent i don´t remember. and Wriothesly and Clorinde representing Ei facing Signora. but your version is cool.
For Freminet, we can see water leaking out when Furina takes his helmet off, as if he was drowning on land (reverse of the skilled diver not drowning in the sea)
When she played rock paper scissors with the crab fully knowing that playing rock would make her win and THEN she laughs at the crab just made me lose it. This trailer has so much personality in it, might not be the coolest trailer but its showing so much of her.
to quote the characters themselve: Furina as a God is adored but nobody is devoted to her. They see her as a kinda idol with her drama and flair, but never could truly think of her as a powerful god
The four freeze frames of the characters are visual allusions to moments in the AQ. Childe running away from Melusine down stairs mirrors the Traveller running away down stairs from the Liyue Police Neuvillette being held back like Venti was while Signora stole his gnosis, with Navia being Signora. Lyney being trapped alluding to Nahida being trapped by the sages. Lyney/Nahida is the one "in power" but he's being contained by the people who are supposed to support him (Lynette/Sages). Freminet having his helmet popped off and water spewing everywhere without showing his head may allude to the part in the 4.2 trailer where it's implied Furina is beheaded (a couple shots later she shoves the helmet back on, so I'm going to theorize she isn't actually beheaded... at least, not permanently). Furina playing the different archons on stage prior to this makes it feel like everything in Teyvat is a play that has a script. Which is supported by the traveller being the permanent audience member and outside of Irminsul, and the mysterious voice at the end of 3.3 that says that fate cannot be changed.
Something that's worth mentioning is that while the trailer is kind of light hearted on the surface, it has this strong feeling of it all being a great facade. And the lyrics of the vocals you hear at the end are in French, translated to English it becomes: "The world is but a stage. Why cry, when you can laugh instead? For laughter is humanity's preserve. Laugh it all off, fret not, Let's just enjoy the moment" I strongly feel like it's all directing towards trying to distract us from something terrible happening, something that's worth grieving over.
a neat lil detail is that, when furina is flying around [like at (9:00], every time the background color changes is when she's imitating a different archon. the people watching her change to match that archon's people too !!
She puts up a theatrical front as kind of a defence mechanism for some reason, so far we don't know, we'll probably get to know more about her tomorrow as the update comes out. Edit: I did the archon quest and now i know why she puts up a theatrical front.
It is kind of obvious by now, I think, though I could be wrong. To deceive fate itself, she literally went "never let them know your next move, yourself included". There's a split personality thing going on, Furina we see is a front, hiding what her other self is doing to save Fontaine. Considering she's likely an oceanid of sorts, she might literally have the ability to split herself, so...
@@andynorck2389there’s theory going out about an incident which happened in the past of fontaine, where for some reasons the archon started to combine herself with past archons of fontaine.. I won’t go too in depth but its such an interesting concept. If u wanna know more just search on youtube Three archons in fontaine theory
What I find amusing is Furina protecting Clorinde (woman with purple hair and pistol) from some of the weakest enemies in the entire game. Clorinde is a champion duelist, she'd have zero issues protecting herself. Much like Fischl, Furina lives in Cloudcuckooland. Note: I adore extra characters like the Prizenssin and Regina Fontaine.
It holds a message for those who know the game story. Because in her performance, everything is backwards. Chief justice is being held as criminal. Her bodyguard is scared of harmless creature. Magic performance executed by introverted assistant. Best diver in nation drowning on dry land. And so on and so forth. I love the demo because it is genuinely happy and fresh yet when you dig deeper, there is a scary message, likely foreshadowing what's about to happen in her story.
There are many layers of understanding in this trailer, for instance, when she is balancing : 1st layer : she is just having fun lancing on the stage. 2nd layer : for every swing there is a feature and a color, making us understand that she mimics the other archons (Nahida, venti, Raiden, Zongli) 3rd layer : On the final (fifth) swing, she is now playing/mimicking the hydro archon (the light is blue) and the feature she chose to represent herself as the archon is to throw her hat looking crown to the people : cohincidence or big foreshadowing of her getting rid of her power or status ? 4th layer : She is playing the role of the archons on the stage, so has it been all an act since the begining ?
One thing I notice as well was the fact that the spotlight being on the hat that was thrown towards the audience but not on furina herself Considering what happened in act 5 the foreshadowing in that shot was very subtle
You missed the nuance: everything that is happening, is exactly the opposite: Chief justice is being held as criminal, champion duelist is scared of weakest creature, magic performance executed by introverted assistant, the best diver in nation - drowning on a land...
She's an actual celebrity, though she is not revered or worshipped the way that other archons are. In court her role is most often that of the prosecutor. You should absolutely check out her teaser if you haven't already, it's quite the contrast to this one.
If you react to her teaser trailer, you see more of her serious/sad side. I don't wanna give away spoilers, but Furina is basically the worlds best method actor.
2:20 This part made me laugh so hard, her just bullying a crab at rock paper scissors was soo mean x) Also, may I request of you to react to Version 4.2 Trailer ? It came out recently and it's probably one of the best version trailers ever ^^
I love how the entire beat/tone switches when she activates that "white" costume thing, its like shes a different person when using whatever ability it is
2:38 this part where she threw out her hat, is the representation of her execution, where in Archon Quest, (spoiler) we can see her hat fell after being guillotined
What I think is genius is that the two roles she plays throughout this trailer are directly tied to the roles she plays with her skills in game. First she is the main character of the play. The hero that fights enemies with her little summons to save others (her summons attack enemies in game). With her outfit change (charged attack in game), her skill changes to her healing abilities (healing party members while she herself is not on the field). In the trailer she now is more of the Regisseur, directing and creating scenarios for the play and keeping the play alive (literally) from the outside (enabling the party to keep fighting in game).
14:00 This is Navia who will be playable pretty soon. She is one of the first characters you meet during Act 1 of the Fontaine story. She's an heir to an investigating company(?), helps the protagonist in a court case, and in turn receive similar help in uncovering her father's murder case from years ago. The other character with the pointy hat is Clorinde and pretty much a badass dualist who fights criminals who prefer a trial by combat.
one of my favourite details of this demo is that the enemies furina fights to show off her abilities in combat are really weak. like completely pathetic. most characters fight hordes of enemies in their demos, or maybe just a couple really strong enemies. like, zhongli for example petrifies an entire field of enemies, and just stands there as tons of enemies try to attack his shield. even nahida fights multiple enemies at once. but furina? first, she fights a seal that doesn't fight back. then she uses her summons to gang up on a really weak crab enemy that barely fight back (that crab enemy doesn't even cause battle music to begin in the game, that's how weak it is), and even then she's letting her summons to all the fighting. and lastly, she fights a single hillichurl, the most common enemy, but she's being healed by her skill while she's doing it. I definitely feel like this is supposed to be one of those "only pick the fights you know you can win" situations. in the story, any time someone challenges her to combat, she backs down. she's either very weak, or not confident in her combat abilities, and I like how they showed that in her demo. the only fights she'll actually do are the ones where there's no risk of getting harmed.
My favorite part of this trailer can only be appreciated when you slow it down, there is a split second where you can see childe in the background dropkicking some guy in the battle at the end
She's so extra I love it. Props to her doing the trapeze swing mimicking or dropping crumbs of info about the other Archons. The chaotic finale though. Seeing the ironies with the actors' actual in-game character and their tableau, then Childe dropkicking someone on the set was freaking hilarious, and looks very very foreshadow-y (knowing how Genshin tends to do trailers and events).
the blonde girl at the end, who's name is Navia, has been announced to become playable in 4.3. this means that we'd have to wait atleast 4 weaks for her demo to come out (as 4.2 release on the 8th and new updates come roughly every month). as for the woman in purple earlier in the video, that's Chlorinde. she doesn't have any demo or release date yet, but she's cool.
The French vocals translates to: The world is but a stage. Why cry, when you can laugh instead? For laughter is humanity's preserve. Laugh it all off, fret not, Let's just enjoy the moment. The Original French: Le monde n'est qu'une scène. Il vaut mieux rire que pleurer, car le rire est le propre de l'homme. Riez de tout cela, ne vous inquiétez pas. Profitons d'aujourd'hui. Which when you take in account her Character Teaser, is a lot ominous then the trailer leads you to believe. After all, she's all about making up illusions and tricking the eye. The entirety of Fontaine is like that. Fontaine is a stage, the Prophecy is the story, but the ending is in Furina's hands. After all, an archon can't weep upon the throne if there is no archon.
11:02 shes Navia, will get a demo in 4.3!!! And also the silent film character is Clorinde (clor-and) and idk when she will come out but she will get a demo!!
Part of the whole nature of this character is duality and contrast, while it doesn't break from the tone in this trailer, the whole video itself is a hard tonal opposite to the teaser video of her right before this, "member of the cast" which is a more overtly dark and mysterious trailer that ends with her alone under the water, implying that everyone and everything has died but her. So they're actually going for a direct juxtaposition between two videos here.
something I've never heard anyone mention is that the song in her trailer(especially the singing) sounds so much like a song from a bayonetta game... does the fanbase just not overlap
The idea of this demo is great and my new favorite. To me it just seems as if Furina is the main character and everyone else is just a background character to her show. And we're the audience
Everyone: Oh it's because her defense mechanism that's why she's like that. Me: Are we not going to talk about how batshit crazy Lyney and Lynette were on the poor dude?
navia is next in coming characters the yellow black dress one , also it's hard to notice but each time color of furina swing move is a reference to each archon we have met , poses , colors and the crowds are the ones for each area of the game till now
A little off-topic, but could someone tell me where the background music at 0:12 to 0:44 is from. I know that theme, but can't remember where I heard it before. It's probably a video game.
@@md_vandenberg It is. I'm talking about the ost that plays during the intro, while he talks. My best guess would be Nier ost or something like that. And if it really is Hoyo music it would be nice to get the name or a description of when it plays.
that girl in black & yellow dress is Navia she's really interesting character we got to know some of her background during 4.1 Archon Quest. I must say she's the Fontaine's best girl.
If you want to see more Furina and get some idea of what she's like "behind the curtain" you might be interested in her teaser that came out the other day too. EDIT: okay you know about it, I posted the comment before I'd quite gotten to the end, lol
This whole trailer about her mocking her fellow archons and reversing the roles of certain scenes that have already happend, also, i don't know if u saw, but in the beginning she has a black suit on and short hair with a Vision(meaning she's no longer a Archon) while in the 2nd part she is in her Archon form with long hair and white suit. The other characters u were looking at were Navia, who they just dripmarketed to be in the next update and who's a big part of the story and of course Clorinde who's been in the story for quite some time.
If you look closely the scenes that Furina is photographing are actualy reenactments of past events from the Arcon quests. Also when she is swinging across the stage she is imitating each Arcon that we have already met.
At the start of Fontaine we all thought Furina wasn't SHIM, and she wasn't SHIM. But slowly seeing how the much more Human she was, oddly so. Like the other Archons were truly more human than we expected, but still had the distant reality of divinity around them in the story and their Demos and Trailers. Furina though seemed extremely human, there was no divinity surrounding her actions. Flaunt and Greed and Gluttony, exceptionally human. She was SHIM.
It's a bit late, but to directly answer the question about whether her fame as a performer is canon or metaphorical: it's both. She's actually an accomplished actress in canon, but she's also acting like everything is fine and fun-but she's not doing it to fool herself. Instead, she's trying to fool us into thinking she's in control. It's a show for us, because she needs us to think everything is fine, because her secret depends on us (and everyone else) thinking everything is fine. She knows and inwardly acknowledges the reality of the situation, and dreads it, but the situation will get worse if we expose what's really going on to the powers that be. And so, the show must go on, else the tragedy she seems to be ignoring turn into reality.
Furina was foul for using the rock beat scissors on a dang crab has no choice but to throw out Scissors every time cuz of the dam CRAB HANDS! Staged like a mofo man. 😂
every event that is happening with the other characters, like furina being adored by the audience, furina protecting clorinde, childe running from the melusines, neuvillette being arrested, lyney being in the box, freminettes helmet containing water INSIDE, and wriothesley and clorinde fighting are all inverted events of what happened in the archons quests. Furina is not actually beloved by her ppl, they look down on her, clorinde actually protects furina, Childe never actually ran from being arrested, neuvillette does not get arrested and instead convicts criminals, lyney was outside the box and Lynette was inside, freminette’s helmet is meant to have water OUTSIDE, and wriothesley and clorinde worked together in the fortress to hold off the primordial sea. This whole trailer is furina’s imagination going wild. Even at the end when she bows there are no claps to her performance showing how truly alone she is.
Correction, the people legitimately love Furina. She is adored by the people. The only difference from her and other Archons is that she's not revered in the way one would the Raiden Shogun. But make no mistake, the people of Fontaine adore Furina legitimately. She's a national celebrity, with a list of people trying to see her a mile long.
Sad Fact: It ends with a blue almost ocean-like curtain falling down, typically in theaters this is where the audience claps and cheers after the curtain fell, but none of that was heard. It symbolizes Fontaine drowning in the "prophecy" with Furina being alone and no one cheering anymore
We'll have to see how any of this plays out in the finale of the story - which releases later today. But you are absolutely right about the teasers insinuating Furina is some kind of schemer/manipulator. The interesting thing is that this is a COMPLETE contrast to how she is presented in game. (Spoilers for Fontaine Act 1-4 Follow) Furina - throughout the story - comes across as a dorky, awkward celebrity who is pretending to be the mighty and righteous God of Justice of Fontaine, but as soon as she comes under pressure folds like wet tissue paper into deep seated insecurities and self-doubt. As a result, her people see her as a celebrity but not a god. She's beloved because she's fun and entertaining with a tonne of stage presence, but not at all respected due to her perceived lack of competence. All of the major political powers of Fontaine are currently actively seeking to prevent a nation destroying apocalypse predicted in an ancient prophecy that is mere weeks from occurring at this point. They're all working on solutions but none of them seem to have anything under control - while Furina continues to parade around like a celebrity without a care in the world. It's also notable that Furina - the Archon - has a conspicuous lack of presence in the "Archon Quests" (the main story) of the game. Then - one of the major political players of Fontaine finally gets sick of Furina's care free attitude and directly confronts her about her "doing nothing to resolve the impending crisis". And for the first time in the game - for just a brief window - she gets deathly serious - with NO hesitation or doubt - that she knows EXACTLY what she's doing and has a plan in motion to stop the crisis. Then all of these trailers and teasers come out - which have this intense undercurrent of Furina acting the dork but really being manipulating things from behind the scenes to a very specific goal. Almost like the entire story we've played through so far has been a carefully directed script where she is specifically manipulating everything to resolve the crisis. My personal theory is that Furina is aware that the prophesized disaster is literally fated by destiny to happen - there is NO WAY to prevent the prophecy from coming true... but Furina is trying to manipulate it so that it *technically* comes true - but all of the terrible consequences are things that come true only in a loose interpretation of the wording and actually everyone is pretty much OK. Can't wait to get stuck in to the story and see how that actually plays out.
She reminds me of TF2 Pyro; the world is full of fighting and hell but she sees everything as joy and play. You think she might have a mental condition like Pyro?
Maybe showing my age here, but the end of the demo reminds me of the ending of Blazing Saddles. I'll be curious if she kinda breaks some 4th walls in game.
Did you know the vocals are french ? Lyrics : "Le monde n'est qu'une scène. Il vaut mieux rire que pleurer, car le rire est le propre de l'homme. Riez de tout cela, ne vous inquiétez pas. Profitons d'aujourd'hui." English Translation : “The world is just a stage. It is better to laugh than to cry, because laughter is the nature of man. Laugh at it all, don't worry. Let’s enjoy today.”
Que triste veo ahora este trailer luego de avanzar con la historia furina realmente uno de los personajes mas inteligentes y astutos de la historia movilizando todo a su disposición para completar su objetivo
This trailer is opposite day. I the trailer, everyone else is acting. In reality, the actress is Furina. I the trailer, Furina states that the foe is something that Clorinde cannot handle. In reality, Clorinde is an accomplished delist and the foe literally doesn't attack back. I the trailer, Furina has a camera and is taking pictures of the stage while Charlotte is on the stage. In reality, Charlotte is the news reporter and Furina the actress. I the trailer, Childe is running from a fight. In reality, Childe loves fighting and always runs towards a fight. I the trailer, Neuvillette is being arrested. In reality, he's the judge of those who are arrested. I the trailer, Lyney is in the water tank and Lynette is the showman. In reality, Lynette is the assistant in the tank and Lyney is the showman. I the trailer, Furina and everyone is upbeat and happy. In reality, Furina has been suffering for 500 years acting the role of the Archon and everyone is concerned about the doomsday prophecy.
Anyone else notice her flicking Neuvillete's hair and then licking/kissing her finger??? Is that supposed to be for the Furina and Neuvillete shippers?
Not an expert on Genshin lore by any means but this is my understanding from what I've seen in game. SPOILER ⚠⚠⚠⚠ Furina is not exactly the true archon of Fontaine. She is not necessarily a fraud/random person pretending, she is a half of the actual archon and possesses no divine power or knowledge, she is merely a human with a curse that causes her to live on without aging so long as the 'divinity' side of her does not die. The 'divinity' side of her tasked her with pretending to be the archon for 500 years. This means she had to maintain the stability of the entire nation for 500 years with a 'weak mind' (she can experience emotion and stress + gods are much more intelligent) and she also had to convince her people for that period of time that she was indeed the archon without any power to prove it and she could not be herself, having to create a new persona in order to do so which was incredibly straining. An ordinary human would probably lose their sanity without anything to enjoy for so long but she knew that if she strayed from her role and sought happiness, Fontaine's prophecy would come true (Fontaine will be flooded and the people will be dissolved into the water) so she had no choice but to keep going. She did not even notice when tears were streaming down her face because of all the pain she was and had already experienced. Moving on from the backstory, the trailer (I believe) represents how Furina wishes she could go about her life, to have all the freedom and happiness in the world rather than be occupied with stressful and overwhelming responsibilities for every second of every day for centuries. What we see in the demo is, put simply, her fantasy. Please correct me if I'm wrong 😅
Furina, she acted strong, but she is weak, she is the weakest, which made her the strongest... Honestly, i feel that as a person, she is the strongest person currently in the game.

On point!
@@puck9222 what could imply or represent Paimon drowning and Traveler fishing her out of the water. just a thought that came to me.
When she played rock paper scissors with the crab fully knowing that playing rock would make her win and THEN she laughs at the crab just made me lose it. This trailer has so much personality in it, might not be the coolest trailer but its showing so much of her.
I knooow I noticed it and have been sad that no one else talks about that little bit because that was quite funny lmao
No no no, not just any crab. That's Madamoiselle Crabaletta. You'd better respect such a name.
@@billystokes3917 The name just makes me cringe so bad so I'm not gonna say it
I had assumed that that was a fist bump rather than Rock Paper Scissors.
to quote the characters themselve: Furina as a God is adored but nobody is devoted to her.
They see her as a kinda idol with her drama and flair, but never could truly think of her as a powerful god
The four freeze frames of the characters are visual allusions to moments in the AQ.
Childe running away from Melusine down stairs mirrors the Traveller running away down stairs from the Liyue Police
Neuvillette being held back like Venti was while Signora stole his gnosis, with Navia being Signora.
The last shot is also about a duel involving an electro swordswoman.
@@ZekkSkywalk True!
@@ZekkSkywalkAn Electro swordsman and a Cyro Catalyst as well
I think the lyney and Lynette one is a reach but great theory!
you also run from some guards in sumeru at some point so it could also that
Something that's worth mentioning is that while the trailer is kind of light hearted on the surface, it has this strong feeling of it all being a great facade. And the lyrics of the vocals you hear at the end are in French, translated to English it becomes:
"The world is but a stage.
Why cry, when you can laugh instead?
For laughter is humanity's preserve.
Laugh it all off, fret not,
Let's just enjoy the moment"
I strongly feel like it's all directing towards trying to distract us from something terrible happening, something that's worth grieving over.
a neat lil detail is that, when furina is flying around [like at (9:00], every time the background color changes is when she's imitating a different archon. the people watching her change to match that archon's people too !!
and even the character swap sound effect plays, I can't with her lmao
@@Psycorde she is the only character that changes appearances. That is strange. It could signal to there being two of her.
Not just a Champion Duelist, one that fought Childe and won while apparently holding back. Girls a straight beast.
@@thegamewoods8473 it was never said that she won. Childe only said that he was very unhappy that she did not fight him with her full strength.
Aside from the eerie silence at the end, I also noted that the falling curtain was ocean blue. No one can applaud if they're underwater, eh?
There are many layers of understanding in this trailer, for instance, when she is balancing :
1st layer : she is just having fun lancing on the stage.
2nd layer : for every swing there is a feature and a color, making us understand that she mimics the other archons (Nahida, venti, Raiden, Zongli)
3rd layer : On the final (fifth) swing, she is now playing/mimicking the hydro archon (the light is blue) and the feature she chose to represent herself as the archon is to throw her hat looking crown to the people : cohincidence or big foreshadowing of her getting rid of her power or status ?
4th layer : She is playing the role of the archons on the stage, so has it been all an act since the begining ?
One thing I notice as well was the fact that the spotlight being on the hat that was thrown towards the audience but not on furina herself
Considering what happened in act 5 the foreshadowing in that shot was very subtle
You missed the nuance: everything that is happening, is exactly the opposite: Chief justice is being held as criminal, champion duelist is scared of weakest creature, magic performance executed by introverted assistant, the best diver in nation - drowning on a land...
Thanks!
I like the professional film perspective by which you commented on Furina's demo video. I really enjoy it.
Thank you so much!!! So glad you enjoyed it! I played Genshin on the live stream last night and it was so much fun in Fontaine!
3:35 he says "shes loving life" wait till he plays the archon quest 😢
She's an actual celebrity, though she is not revered or worshipped the way that other archons are. In court her role is most often that of the prosecutor.
You should absolutely check out her teaser if you haven't already, it's quite the contrast to this one.
If you react to her teaser trailer, you see more of her serious/sad side. I don't wanna give away spoilers, but Furina is basically the worlds best method actor.
2:20 This part made me laugh so hard, her just bullying a crab at rock paper scissors was soo mean x)
Also, may I request of you to react to Version 4.2 Trailer ? It came out recently and it's probably one of the best version trailers ever ^^
Blondie's name is Navia and she's coming next patch so it'll be 6 or 9 weeks until her demo
10:59 It's Navia, she will have her demo before patch 4.3 in 6 weeks.
The French near the end is translated in the description of the video! The world really is her stage.
Really like your analysis. Can't wait to see your reaction to her teaser
That camera frames - rewinding effect appeared twice and it worked perfectly pumping up the atmosphere.
at 09:03 she impersonate the other archons, also the Geo but with the money.
and the crowd change too, u can see they are from the respective region of the other archons Furina impersonate.
It’s a good day when my Philip posts a new vid 🥰
Thank you my love! Can’t wait for your stream later 🥰
She so precious! 💖
In patch 4.3 we will get a character demo of her. She’s basically a mafia underground boss for the side of good and the community.
The French vocals translates to:
The world is but a stage.
Why cry, when you can laugh instead?
For laughter is humanity's preserve.
Laugh it all off, fret not,
Let's just enjoy the moment.
The Original French:
Le monde n'est qu'une scène.
Il vaut mieux rire que pleurer,
car le rire est le propre de l'homme.
11:02 shes Navia,will get a demo in 4.3!!!
I wanted to hear Furinas demo but when I heard the Song of The Ancients Popolas version. The memories flooded my head
something I've never heard anyone mention is that the song in her trailer(especially the singing) sounds so much like a song from a bayonetta game... does the fanbase just not overlap
your reaction is so interesting, loved it!
Pretty sure all music in MiHoYo games are made by MiHoYo.
We don't know what her deal is yet but the story continues tonight. She is like a celebrity but there's something more to it we don't know yet
You missed 9:10, where she gave a nod to Venti, Zhongli, Raiden and nahida while she swings 🙈🙈
After doing the archon quest, this hurts. Her Story is so sad....
2:26 She is literally portraying all 4 Archons 😂
The blonde girl is Navia and she will coming on the next patch, so it would be around December 20th
Can’t wait to see the details in this from an expert.
Fontain is the nation of Justice and Furina watches over every trial, which are a sort of enertainment for the people of fontain
If you look closely the scenes that Furina is photographing are actualy reenactments of past events from the Arcon quests. Also when she is swinging across the stage she is imitating each Arcon that we have already met.
7:25 There's not a lot of impact... a Honkai Impact (third)! Thanks for watching.
The blonde girl and her character demo is coming towards the end of December so look forward to that :)
Great video as always.
You should check out the teaser too!
The blond girl is Navia, she release next patch so her demo is not that far
Furina was foul for using the rock beat scissors on a dang crab has no choice but to throw out Scissors every time cuz of the dam CRAB HANDS! Staged like a mofo man. 😂
This trailer is the best demo they have ever done. For Genshin like god damn xD
Justice for Crabeletta. Stood no chance
every event that is happening with the other characters, like furina being adored by the audience, furina protecting clorinde, childe running from the melusines, neuvillette being arrested, lyney being in the box, freminettes helmet containing water INSIDE, and wriothesley and clorinde fighting are all inverted events of what happened in the archons quests.
(Spoilers for Fontaine Act 1-4 Follow)
Furina - throughout the story - comes across as a dorky, awkward celebrity who is pretending to be the mighty and righteous God of Justice of Fontaine, but as soon as she comes under pressure folds like wet tissue paper into deep seated insecurities and self-doubt.
You think she might have a mental condition like Pyro?
and the song at the end is in french
I think her burst shiness❤❤🎉🎉
Maybe showing my age here, but the end of the demo reminds me of the ending of Blazing Saddles. I'll be curious if she kinda breaks some 4th walls in game.
Furina hair is changed from long to short 🎉
Did you know the vocals are french ?

Not an expert on Genshin lore by any means but this is my understanding from what I've seen in game.
SPOILER ⚠⚠⚠⚠
Furina is not exactly the true archon of Fontaine.
Honestly, i feel that as a person, she is the strongest person currently in the game.
her element is water. Her character and demo will have some charecteristics of water. This is as bubbly and playful as babbling brook.
Furina has problems, a lot of problems. She's apart from the Hydro Archon and also A part of the Hydro Archon. A five centuries long part.
🥸👍
