I love that every single bit of fighting here is clearly designed to be stage combat: Furina never even touches the sea lion, her cabinet are blowing water onto a crab's shell (granted, that would work in the "real game"), and you actually can clearly see classic background actors' brawl bits playing out (right down to Navia and Chlorinde dramatically slapping each other's faces high so you don't look at the hands making the actual noise). This goes beyond "CGI doesn't match real movement" to "this was clearly copied off of actual movement intended to not match real fighting".
There is that childe dropkick though

He's throwing himself - not really landing on a specific body part but torso first - on top of somebody who's braced on the ground, in full control of themselves and poised to catch him. While this certainly isn't at the "Star Trek two-handed smash" level of UNprofessional stage combat (the original series invented that move because while it doesn't even really look like real fighting it's incredibly hard to hurt somebody else while doing it regardless of the actors' lack of either training or rehearsal), that full-body leap is one of those moves that looks a lot rougher than it is as long as the audience isn't focused on you, so it's good for background actors pretending they're in a wild brawl.
Also, the twins beating down on that one guy on the ground, with the way Lyney's fist never quite makes contact and Lynette's flailing arms. Also Wriothesley and his head tilt dodges and punches that don't connect. Or even how Neuvillette knees the guy in an almost gentle way with how slow the motion is. It's so brilliantly crafted to mimic stage fighting that immediately pulls out to show everyone posing for the final scene with the confetti. Furina is putting on a show, and everyone's helping her!

Omg finally someone else noticed this, i legit hear no one talking about this small detail, it's so small but adds so much more humor imo.

I love that Furina's combat demo at the start was her fighting the creatures that don't chase you down or fight back 😂 (the little tail whip doesn't count lol)
Tbh I think it was her pet... In her character story it says the only wild creature of the seas she got along with was a blubberbeast.
I don't think she touches the seal too.
It fits because ingame her summons attack anything that's attackable, even if they aren't being aggressive
And she called them a foe which you cannot take lightly. 😭
Furina wanted to just show off her non existent fighting skills to Clorinde against the most non violent creature in Tevyat.
Actually with everyone fighting at the end it also suits her kit. Since her burst is a team wide damage buff I guess it can be interpreted that she’s contributing with her burst buffs even if she’s not explicitly attacking? Idk just my interpretation.

I think at that point it was the healing part of her kit, if you look at the summon. Maybe healing everyone?

Same. Even in 4.0 when everyone said she was annoying, I always thought she was annoying in an endearing and harmless way. I couldn't believe it when people were saying they genuinely disliked her-- and I'm in more shock to see people still dislike her after 4.2.

About the seal part, it's actually pretty cool. Since the beginning of the demo is like a silent opera, everything is an act. If you look closely, Furina never hits the seal, Chlorinde is like "bruh", and the seal is like "wtf is going on?"
Both the seal and the crab are actors. The seal never got hit and for the crab, You can see it talking to her summons, as if discussing what to do 😂😂
@@ahmaddzafran6115 if I'm being honest, the crab looks surprised at first to me. But it looks similar to the summons just saying "just act along for her sake" kinda 😂

Furina is such an amazing character
I know she might saw this by now but the singing in Furina's demo is french and this why this is the best demo the songing. Her demo is the only one so far that has all of her people in it, the other archons are alone compare to her
Venti also includes a bunch of people but not everyone 😅

I mean the solitude makes sense for them. Venti and Zhongli are retired archons, none of their people know their true identities. Ei distanced herself from her people in her Plane of Euthymia and Nahida has never been allowed to leave the Sanctuary of Surastana and neither does she have the admiration of her people. Furina is the only archon as of now who isn't retired AND has the respect of her people, hence her subjects appear in her demo.
In the Furina trailer, Furina is also staging past events from the previous story quests. For example, Childe being chased by the Melusines is a recreation of the mob attacking Katherine (when Nahida was occupying her body) in Sumeru.

After a bajillion rewatches of the brawl scene, i think my favorite part is that Clorinde and Navia show up late (about 2 secodns after everyone else has already started fighting) and next we see of them, they just have the lamest slap fight since FF7's

To me the teaser is showing us the timeline of what would have happened if Furina's resolve would have failed.
It's so tragic. My favorite teaser by far.
I love this demo as to how funny the ot was! Also, dish, did you know that you can find Kazuha in the demo which you will not notice roght away but when you slow it down when she does her burst, somewhere after that, there will be a blur that is very much Kazuha figure behind some bushes.

the childe scene was the one in liyue, escaping from the milileth. the navia and neuv is the signora and venti's fight.

Small detail but I love that Furina is left handed. Not the usual so it's something interesting
Love the fact that she only volunteered to handle the oh-it- does-nothing-at-all seal/blubber beast
(In her char story, furina and blubber beasts are actually besties. Cuz.. she's just bored n the beast literally do nothing)

Magia and Clorinde look like they’re doing that trend where they put ETA by New Jeans in the back, a they “pretend” to argue, mimicking that Brazilian video. Is my headcanon that that’s the purpose and it’s intentional, and it makes it more hilarious to me 💀

I’m going to be honest. When we first met Furina, I lowkey didn’t like her at all. She was like fischl, but the archon so it was worse. But after playing the archon quest, she is now my favorite archon, and one of my favorite characters in the entire game. And now, her demo is just so chaotic and hilarious and it makes me love her even more

I know dish willingly ruins moments by keeping chat notifications on, because it's good "engagement" or whatever. But holy shit is it annoying.
"I seriously didn't watch anything" - that's cap. Every Content Creator watches shit and then reacts to it...very, very few don't but then they pretend that they didn't watch it O.O. Just like content creators have this amazing "women's intuition" when it comes to "predicting" what is coming up next (aka, their lying ass about not consuming leaks lol).
