  • These are my first impressions of Hyatt after completing my first hotel stay. I'll discuss the loyalty program and how I was treated with my current member status, without Discoverist, Explorist, or Globalist, and I'll go over a few important details about the hotel I stayed with. It's hard not to love a hotel chain that easily accepts your transferred Chase Ultimate Rewards points leading to a $0 hotel stay for 3 nights. I earned these points from my Chase Sapphire Preferred and Chase Ink Preferred, and can also earn with other cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Freedom Flex, Chase Freedom Unlimited, or the no annual fee business cards, the Chase Ink Cash and Chase Ink Unlimited.

    Great video Jacob! Thought I"d let you know that the a lot of the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House's offer free breakfast for all members regardless of tier level. At least here in the U.S. I'm not sure about Poland or other locations in Europe though.

      Thank you! I'll make sure to check for that on my next stay. The front desk staff told me as I was checking in that breakfast wasn't included, but maybe for my stay in Canada and anywhere else I go it'll be different

    Interesting video. So I’m on a “timeshare” type of program that uses only Hyatt hotels such as Secrets and other Hyatt-related locations. So I pay a monthly for that program. I’m curious to know if I can earn those extra perks if I get a Hyatt-related credit card. Hmm

    • @JacobsPointsAndProfit
      @JacobsPointsAndProfit  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's very interesting. As I learn more about Hyatt, I'm sure I'll have a better understanding of that timeshare program and everything else related to the company. I would hope that the credit card would provide some of the benefits if you're staying as Hyatt properties, but it would be hard to say without knowing your exact program

    Excellent video Jacob! I’m planning to transfer some Chase points to Hyatt, how long does it take for points to reflect on Hyatt account once transferred from Chase or Bilt?

    • @JacobsPointsAndProfit
      @JacobsPointsAndProfit  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don’t have experience with Bilt points to Hyatt but with Chase points to Hyatt it has also been less than 10 seconds for me both times I’ve tried it

    • @AnthonyVenture

    Did you noticed that business world of Hyatt is better than personal version ? 60k with only 5K spent on business while you need to do 15K total spent to hit 60k Hyatt points ? Unless I am missing something seems the business Hyatt is a no brainer ? Oh and good info in this video :)

    • @JacobsPointsAndProfit
      @JacobsPointsAndProfit  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The bonus on the business card is absolutely better than the personal card, but there are a few downsides. The annual fee is about $100 more and it doesn't give you a free night every year. Right now, I have a difficult time deciding which card is better, but one of the most important factors I use to decide on a card is the welcome bonus

    Hyatt can range, at least in some of the touristy areas, Hyatt places are hit or miss, Hyatt House seems to be the high premium brand of the low tiered hotels.
    I think they get really insane for the luxury section, as low as Regencies to Thompson’s and up etc are always very high level.
    But for low to medium level, I’d book Hilton, up from that, I’d go Hyatt unless there’s a Waldorf or Conrad, even Tapestry in some cases.
    I liked seeing your first experience Jacob, it’ll get better trust me 😂!
    Almost to 1k!!

      We’ll see how I feel about the Hyatt House I have booked. It would be cool to try out some of the luxury properties for all the different hotel chains but I would feel bad parting with so many of my points haha
