Thoughts on Fontainebleau Las Vegas?
Would you stay here?
Between the Fontainebleau and the Wynn, which one would you say is more upscale and why? Forbes hasn't yet rated the Fontainebleau as it's too new, but I do know that the Miami one, which is almost identical except for the casino, does have a 5 Forbes diamond rating

@@charylene211 I don’t think it was vandalism. A woman ran into the display and the casino had to put a barrier up to prevent people from running into it and hurting themselves. Or damaging their property.

I was there too - and had the thrill of meeting both you and Mr. Ruby! (I am Gene Wilder's biographer, was there with my friend, and we chatted outside on Sunday night.) You were just as charming, nice, and down to earth as you are in your videos. And for your viewers who are not as lucky as I was too meet you guys, you and Mr. Ruby make a lovely couple! 👍

I remember seeing this building when I first visited Vegas in 2015. I've been maybe 6 times since and I can't believe its finally open! Love the videos as always!
ya I remember when I first visited Vegas as an adult back in 07 and walking past thee construction site on the way from our hotel at thee Stratosphere and seeing a banner stating it would open in 09.

That was a pretty fabulous hotel. Once I’m back in Vegas, I’m staying at The Fountainebleau.
Bring a big budget, it's a luxury resort on par with Wynn/Encore, Bellagio, Caesar's Palace so restaurants/bars are very expensive geared towards customers that don't need to ask how much something is. It's also new so it will take a few months to work out the kinks to get things just right which is common with mega resorts.
Classy resort but also relaxing atmosphere, I hope the location doesn't hinder their success, the place suits you Ruby
That is the most beautiful property in every way! I loved everything starting from check in, the energy it generates and the beautiful everything! The restaurant you chose was out of this world . Everything was perfect looking but the steaks looked fantastic. The drink after dinner was Epic. Then the breakfast was large! You fired up the desire to come to Vegas!!!Thank you for sharing. You are the absolute best team to review this hotel!😀💖

Google Fontainebleau nachos and what this place charges to watch a game in their sports book. This place already has a terrible reputation. It's become a joke on the strip with the locals.

Absolutely loved your thorough review of this property. This is on my top 3 list of properties to stay at on our next visit to Las Vegas. My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary next year and we can’t wait to see the new additions since our last visit.
You and Mr. Ruby did such a great job showing off this new property! I don’t have a trip to Vegas planned for any time soon but this place is on the top of my list now. I had no interest in it until seeing this video. The dining options and the rooms look FABULOUS!
Glad to see Ruby's review of the rooms and her suite to give us a better feel of the property, being we only walked around the casino area. One thing we noticed is even tho the casino floor space is massive, they do a really good job of spreading out the gaming tables and slots. Some hotel/casinos really cram their stuff, not the Fontainebleu.

I was a little surprised that the master bathroom shower only seemed to have a single normal wall mount and not a ceiling rain head shower. The shower was definitely big enough.

I’m so happy every time there is the silly elevator moment in each of these reviews. Vegas movies always seem to have funny or strange elevator encounters and Ruby’s resort reviews reminds me of them.
I loved that the restaurant compted the couple's dinner. Forty-five years of marriage is no joke. I might go and try one of the restaurants but the hotel rooms are out of my budget for now although they were nice. The hotel itself seems nice but kind of cold. I think I still prefer the look of the Wynn.

A foyer?! You can fit my apartment twice over in that room 😂. Fontainebleau looks incredible! The B roll is so great! Idk if it’s affordable ($32 for 1 crab cake?!) but $200 for a standard room isn’t too bad. Definitely have to dine there and experience LIV on Sunday in LV.
The entire dinner and drinks cost 2x the room rate.
No resort fee was nice. But the 7%? state tax and 16-20% hotel tax is a killer if you stay an entire week.
That was a wonderful overview of the new Fontainebleau, Las Vegas.

Hotel looks beautiful. I have been coming to Vegas since 2008 and that building has always been an eye sore. I am so glad it is finally finished and I can’t wait to check it out on my next trip. I also don’t consider myself a spa person but looking at it I might have to change my mindset 😂

Would love to see a normal room next ( haven’t finished the vlog so maybe you show one) I always find that the suites I see in Vegas are totally unimaginable to me. I could only ever get one if I didn’t plan on spending much time outdoors because they’re so nice - I’d never leave. Lol

So happy to see this property open! Our first visit out to Vegas in 2010 and the taxi driver gave us a run down of the situation and I’ve been keeping my eye on it since. I hope it succeeds after all it’s been through!
Great review as usual and both room types look really, really nice! Much more elegant that Resorts World Hilton/Conrad rooms for sure. Entire property much more upscale.

Great review Ruby. The table minimums seem normal for a high end property but the 6 to 5 on blackjack at $25 is a definite no for me. I hope the Fountainebleau makes it but the location my present a problem. Overall another great review, keep up the great reviews Ruby. Thanks!

I got back from there today after staying there for a couple of nights. They do have $25 3:2 (Surrender allowed, hit on soft17, 6 deck) Blackjack during morning-lunch-ish and a bit later in the evening during the weekdays.
It's a beautiful property, I booked one of their corner suites for my trip back to Vegas in April. Looking forward to spending my time there.

The area between circus and strat is not safe and even around that property it’s not the best. Your also far from the main strip
Just a follow up to my comment. We went on our trip and stayed at the Wynn Encore. We walked to the Fontainebleau Hotel and it was a fairly short and pleasant walk. If you can walk without a problem, there really is no need to take an Uber from the Wynn. Wouldn’t walk at night but during the day it was safe. In reference to the FB Hotel… it was beautiful! We would stay there if we planned on staying on property and relaxing. We had lunch at one of the restaurants and it was very pricey for what they served… although the atmosphere was very up scale and pleasant.
Another honest and informative review. I look forward to future restaurant reviews from Fontainebleau.

I"m always game for staying at new hotels and giving them a chance. I'm still very much into old Las Vegas which is basically long gone. Maybe because it's so new it seems a bit sterile, but I'm sure after staying there, like you mentioned, its going to be a thumbs up.

Thank you for allowing me to live vicariously within a luxury Vegas resort on Christmas Eve. 🎄
I love when they have a nice big tub right by a window so you can relax and enjoy the view. the room does remind me as a more modern version of thee wraparound suite at the Cosmo without the balcony. and in my opinion more Vegas resorts need balconies. I give this resort a pass as the tower was mostly completed before the Cosmo was even announced so that's ok. but over all it looks like a very nice resort and I look forward to checking it out on one of my future trips.
I don't think you realize how many people commit suicide in vegas by jumping off things because the city does an amazing job of covering it up. There's currently about 1-2 suicides a week at the casinos, but if more casinos had balconies they'd have a really difficult time covering up of the dead people and stopping photos from getting out. Not to mention the drunks falling over the balconies.
