I guess beautiful jowdy the red KELPIE is long gone but what adventures she seen in her lifetime thanks Malcolm showing us our own back yard I always like the NARRATEDs voice it's very pleasant to listen to
So many of his wonderful observations are non P C such a joke a bloke like this would have , a man at the coal universally loved by the Aboriginal ppl of Australia
Awesome video but man, he just kinda treats those waiting crocs like nuisance gulls or something. They're not waiting around because they're curious. They're waiting for you pull in a fish so they can grab it or for you or your dog to fall in. They're waiting around for opportunity! Be safe out there, my man. Ditto for your dog!
they are farmed. sadly half the time in aus these days (besides NT which has a labelling law) you dont know if resturant barramundi is australian farmed, caught, or farmed in some aids infested asian tailings pond
Anyone watching this ... please, do not think this is a good example of how to behave at that particular place. A few days ago, I was there - saw some large crocodiles sliding in and out over that rockbar - right at the sport where Malcolm was swimming. DO NOT swim there - and more particularly, with a dog splashing around. It is a special place - but has it's dangers. Let me be clear though - he was an inspirational man. RIP Malcolm.
The hell is wrong with you this documentary is 45 minutes long they go all over...what place? This is like you call 911 and go "there's a fire watch out" *click* no address, put a timestamp ya lolly
Thank you for putting Mal's vids online, he was a gentleman, pioneer and good friend. RIP Mr Douglas. X

Malcolm was a conservationist at heart I reckon like a lot of people from the country
I’ve never forgotten the fly fishing footage (from this and part 2) since I first saw this gem of a show when it first came out years ago.

Admire him!
Bliss viewing. Nothing like this these days, it’s all over-produced commercial guff
Had a cuppa with mal last year . Thanks for sharing
Find that hard to believe unless you're typing this from your grave
Love the Dog
Would love to taste that fish!
I reckon most of his meals would have sand and/or ash in them. Bush cooking doesn't have to be this rough.
no questioning malcom on this website please
