  • Malcolm takes the viewer around Australia visiting his favourite places. Starting out from Sydney, he travels to Fraser Island, through the Queensland rainforest and across the gulf country to Kakadu. From the Northern Territory he goes down the Gibb River Road through the amazing Kimberley gorge country to Broome, Marble Bar and southern WA. The journey follows the train line across the Nullarbor to the wild southern coast and back to Sydney through the Snowy Mountains. Malcolm talks to the locals along the way and films the spectacular countryside and the unique flora and fauna.

      I 100% agree wit u there my-friend as Alby Mangles n Steve Erwin had nothing of Malcolm 'thats for sure. n not to mention he didn't need catchphrases n lil hoties to attract ppl to watch his Docos. 'Actually only if most ppl knew how 'Alby Mangles treated them young girls i read a few things many years ago about wat came out about his adventures n them young ladies who he brought along.

      @johnnytheprick these are the german versions just without dubs, so i think its from the old vhs collection you could buy back then (early 90s), i remember the comercial for buying these right after the show was aired in germany ;) i still have the 3 vhs tapes of In the Bush 1-3 here

      p.s nice channel you got there looks like a pretty nice lifetsyle, maybe tasmania is worth a visit just to see you dancing ! Also a lot of "Petri Heil" to you, idk what the correct term for "i wish you a lot of fishing luck" is in english or "aussie" ;D

    I wonder if Malcolm new much or anything at all about filming when he set out in 64 n onward's as he truly did a fantastic job right from the beginning.. i grew up watching him in the 70s n i believe he is truly the first n best Aussie documentary maker n true wild-life-man 'way way better than Erwin or anyone today wit there TH-cam channel n 100 times equipment n cameras 'not to mention he also didn't need catchphrases like crikey n so on to attract his ordinances or bring along hot chicks like Alby mangles did, haha. #Period. .

    One of you fellows from Down Under might be able to answer this question for me. I've always loved Malcolm Douglas videos. Even though I'm from the United States he's one of my heroes and so was a fellow by the name of Rob Breadle. Not sure of the last name. But he was also known as the Barefoot Bushman. Fellow with a big bushy black beard and when about barefooted constantly. Does anybody ever know what became of the man?

      Sadly Malcolm died doing what he loved best - working on his crocodile farm. He died in 2010 after a car accident on his Crocodile Farm. I believe he was crushed by his vehicle & was stuck between the car & a tree. Malcolm LOVED the outback & we all loved Malcolm so looked forward to watching them on Sunday afternoons on TV as a kid.

    As scientists have said for decades we are now on the tipping point environmentally, like a rock balanced on a cliff once we go past a certain point there's no turning back. That's where we are with so many things, pollution, deforestation, over population but especially the worlds rainforests. If you want this beautiful place we call home to remain beautiful it's time to act.

      @GOAT PENETRATOR You can't lay 1080 baits within 1km of a dwelling.
      72 hours notice in writing is also required.
      You'll know if your dogs are poisoned with 1080 as they will froth at the mouth and convulse then their heads go blue.
      Park rangers are usually fuck-sticks.

    The pig hunting could probably be done far easier than that, they use dogs which catch it and hold it down, while then using a knife to kill it. However there is a much easier and safer way. You simply shoot them with a rifle with a scope that also has a silencer on it, to make sure the other pigs don't run too far away, then you should use a quad bike with a back tray to transport them back to your truck. These guys are really doing it a hard way, I think they do it this way because it's possibly fun for them to do it that way. Many people like going pigging just because they find it fun.

    • @lordsummerisle87
      @lordsummerisle87 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's one way to do it. Not all land is suitable to be shot over, and in this case it looks to be so brushy that it's difficult to even see the blighters until the dogs have sniffed them out and grabbed hold. Now imagine how difficult it would be to get a clear, certain ID on the target and ensure a safe backdrop for each shot if you can barely see the thing before you're on top of it. Also, remember that suppressors are highly regulated to the extent of nearly being banned in most Aus states even to this day.
