My friend taught me a way to remember the difference between a vein and arteries. And what type of blood that they carry. I am the heart (coincidence cuz my second name is heart) And my friend is the organs of the body that need oxygen, carried by blood And my arch nemesis is the artery. The blood that she flows (oxygenated blood) stays away from me. But will always go to the organs. My clingy friend’s blood (de-oxygenated) will always come to me (the heart) so that it can go to the lung but will not go to the organs.
