@@ipworks99 Z axis only uses one linear guide. I planned for two and everything is prepared to add an additional one. But I couldn't find drawbacks so far. X and Y uses two guides each
You should definitely go for two. Otherwise you‘ll have a side load and momentum on the ball screw and this will not hold up for too long. In addition: You‘ll have a significant amount of binding of the Z Axis in the Y direction, due to the lower stiffness of just one linear rail.. Nice looking machine though :)
