I laugh at those that say this isn't an aggressive deck. It's primary plan is to stick evasive creatures and protect them afterwards with counters and disruption with not the biggest top end. It's the equivalent of saying Legacy delver is a control deck. "Tempo" is probably what I would lean a bit more towards, but aggressive still is part of the tempo gameplan.
1st time: ok let build aggro 2nd time: how can i sell a control deck as an aggro what i expect 3rd time will be just UW control, with one red mountain and one goblin guide: look its an aggro deck
I was skeptical of the scalelord inclusion with its double white casting cost but the chrome mox and looting effects/card selection made it work surprisingly well
the hard part about drafting aggro in cube is that the best aggro decks are secretly also control decks and tempo decks and sometimes combo decks all in the same deck. they just don't play blue cards for control or typical combo pieces for combo (instead you've got parallax wave and cathar commando type stuff)
hey i love the content but as of late there has been a slight audio issue. when you speak into your mic there is a small amount of feedback/ high pitch ringing. nothing video ruining but I thought I should put it out there. Thank you for all the great content over the years keep it up !
Man an few of those games were white knuckle man. But persobally i learn so much and the game play is such good content that i dont care if you lost every game. Im digging these drafts i hioe we see alot more of them!😊
Well its good you didn't win because that didn't seem like an aggro deck, so the challenge continues I assume. Cool to see you trying to draft / play archetypes you arent comfortable with. I wonder if just deciding your colours beforehand is the way to go.
This is the only time I find myself rooting against you, because if you lose, it means we get more videos :P
ah I love you so much! You are such a control player, your idea of aggro is Dimir Tempo 😭
Lol. It isn't exactly control, but it's definitely not quite aggro. Though his draft was pitched loads of control stuff.
@@jaredschroeder7555 I didn't call the deck control. I called him a control player
@natsuoishidou398 oh I know, I probably just phrased it badly. Basically was describing the deck as half hearted control.
"Cryptic Coat attacks pretty well. Subtlety is interaction though, which I value extremely highly. Yeah I'm gonna take the Subtlety." 😂
@@Jesin00 i actually think sublety is more of a tempo card than cryptic coat, tbh. coat feels more finishy/manasinky, while sublety is more tempoy
The Reanimator deck just floating by as I put sadness on the stack that it's not the draft
We have very different definitions of 'aggressive'😂
not to be negative but i really enjoy these vintage cube videos. you always explain your thought process so clearly
Commenting to boost Saturday vintage cube algorithm
went back and looked for fetches in the draft and only that windswept heath came through 😢

Always adore the Vintage Cube content!

I’ve replaced my mic and resolved the issue. There is a backlog of prerecorded videos to get through before you’ll hear the difference.
Saturday Cube, LET'S GO!
I would love to see you Team Draft cube with LSV and the folks on his server, I think it'd make for some great content!
Vintage cube is always fun!! Thanks 💜

It’s the Snorse that Bobs Wrong!
ON A SATURDAY? I'm certainly not complaining!
Oh, you missed the jace reawakened plus Valki combo! you can cast the planeswalker with the plotted Valki.
Taking brazen borrower over library is crazy but if its for the stipulation that would make sense
At 25:20 i think it would have been better to replay chrome mox into locthwain, right?
Cube content while stuck waiting for a late bus? Sign me up!
49:51 You could have turned brazen B into a kill spell with extra steps by bouncing and grief discarding
Caustic bronco 🤤
the brutal double flood out 😭😭😭😭
need a boshnroll cube👀👀👀
11:00 You passed a windswepth heath
Round 1 Game 3 couldn't you have re-played the chrome mox they bounced exiling the Lilliana to cast the Virtue while they were tapped out?
That mh3 schedule must be intense considering your posting a draft that must be a month old with the cube list.
Love to see Saturday vintage cube, and seeing you draft aggro.
That all said... this deck was awful
Hello!
Hello!
Isn't this an older version of the cube?
This is probably recorded a month ago
