    Little knifed cobras are great.
    I am an electrician and use the bigger cobras daily, love ‘em.

      Nice! I can’t justify the bigger cobras for EDC lol can you imagine 🤣🤣

    I'm about a year late to this one but so glad I found your channel! I just finished watching both of your tool kit videos (this one and the original one with the orange 550 lol) and I'm super impressed by what you put together for us! I'm literally building a kit right now and your version of what to pack in these Mini Pouches is easily the most practical I've seen!
    If you ever do decide to revisit this and have another update for your kit, I'd recommend a couple small changes :) adding a simple form of swab or wipe (alcohol based and a general cleaning wipe) comes in handy when on the road. I'm also a huge fan of Muji pens! I'd definitely recommend a nice clicker so that you don't have to worry about losing the cap :) but either way, the Muji is solid for it's price!
    I'm also glad you added a flashlight and notebook! The Warrior Mini 3 is so much smaller than I imagined it to be but that's a great thing! If you're into flashlights, Acebeam makes some very solid EDC lights or just high quality lights in general. Overall, your videography and editing is top notch!
    I'm probably rambling here but you've earned yourself a new subscriber, well done!

    Thanks for the quick response on Insta. This video really helped me to add a few more items I didn't already have to my mini. I'm definitely going to add the pliers. This vid got you another sub for sure. Thanks for sharing your set up

      Thanks man I really appreciate that! Glad you found some useful stuff for your kit. The Knipex pliers have really come through for me more than they should honestly, but they are very versatile. Cheers and happy to have you in the community 🙌🏼🙌🏼

    It’s Nip-Ex. Nip means pinch right!? Love this kit and it’s veeeeery close to mine! I use the slightly cheaper LefRight pouch that’s super similar to the MaxPeded one but almost a third of the price. I too store some Knipex but in the back left section with some zip ties. The left hand elastic for me has the original chrome Leatherman Wave, and the other loop next to it has the Leatherman bit kit. In the rear right section I keep a Field Notes notebook with a paper lip attached to the front, as well as my latest discovery which is the Twin-tip Sharpie with the thin pen on the end. Absolute game changer having a two-in-one pen!! Saves a lot of space in a small kit. In the right hand section elastic dividers I keep an Olight i3T (I too have the Warrior Mini 2 but keep it out of this kit to keep weight down), some super glue, electrical tape (not black, so I can write on it), some small individual wipes for cleaning hands etc, a mini Bic lighter that’s zip-tied, and a 2m Stanley FatMax tape measure (which doesn’t have inches on but its okay as I live in the UK). I may do a video on mine on my channel. This was great though and I got a few extra ideas, so thank you, Ron :)

      Yoo I swear it's pronounced kuh-NIP-eks, German pronunciation style since it's a German company. Your loadout sounds dope man, lots of similarities you're right! i3T is a lot better size for the pouch than the Warrior Mini 2. Thanks for watching all the way from UK, have you checked out Moorlander EDC and Jon Gadget? Love their work and they're based more locally to you! Cheers man thanks for the support!

      @@RonKwok ah, good point re the German pronunciation :) yeah I’m aware of those guys! Two favourites from the UK and yourself and Marine X are my favourites State-side! I’m a member of X’s Battalion. If you’re interested in seeing my kit, I’m just about to shoot it so should be up on my channel by tomorrow! My production is now was up to your standard though! Anyway, thanks for the great content. Please keep it coming!

    ~Awesome review, we have basically the same gear.
    I pronounce it Nipex. I think it’s a silent K. I could be wrong, it could be pronounced many ways.
    I carry the Wave+ too, an Olight Warrior Mini 2 and original.(different packs)
    I also use Maxpedition. I use a Fatty. It’s top quality gear.

      I say nip-ex. just because I went to a tool convention and the worker who was promoting the brand was saying the name as so

    Great upgrades to your kit! I would recommend the Twin Tip Sharpie, so you can have fine & ultra fine tips on the same marker.

    • @RonKwok
      @RonKwok  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man I'll look into it! Any idea if one tip dries out faster if it's carried tip up?

    • @maxiuyin5764
      @maxiuyin5764 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RonKwok I think it’s only when the ink gets low that it wouldn’t be able to feed the upward pointing tip. So with a twin tip, you’ll get the most ink out of it, since storing it either direction, one of the tips will have soaked it up.

      Like the company BMW. I bet you read it "Bee Em Doubleyou", however its name is "Beh em Veh" because that's the German letters' B,M,W names.
      Some brands go with the flow of the native tongue's, some keep their original pronunciation. I don't think anyone in BMW US/AU pronounces it the German way, but I guess Knipex are trying to keep it K-nip-pex

    Good video. I just got that same black Maxpedition Organizer and I was trying to figure out what I should put in it. I had some things, like a Bic Lighter but was unsure as to what tools. You just cleared that up for me, thanks. By the way, I thought it was pronounced Nip Pex not Nypex but of course spelled with a Kn.

    My Warrior II mini failed shortly after I bought it. Olight is jerking me around on replacing or repairing it. I have another Olight that failed after less than a year. Same story on the "guarantee". I WILL NOT buy another Olight!

  • @bingbing2515
    @bingbing2515 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I remember several claim in the past where the Olight (if left on) burned the inside of the bag or pocket because of the high output. Was the proximity feature to help prevent this?

    • @RonKwok
      @RonKwok  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The proximity feature certainly sounds like it would help prevent this kind of scenario. Stay safe out there!

    • @RonKwok
      @RonKwok  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You laugh but i literally have tied that paracord around my waist at least 3 times and have switched a hot water valve on a commercial faucet where I work twice in the last year with the help of the Knipex Cobra pliers. So YES, absolutely! It's not the perfect solution but it comes in clutch when you're caught with your pants down (pun intended). Thanks for your input!
