    Hair ties are very versatile. Started keeping a handful wrapped around a Bic lighter in my pocket for my girls. Then I started using them to wrap cords like you do. I now have one wrapped around my Cobra XS pliers (at the joint) to keep them closed while loose in my pocket. Works great!

      I use hair ties for so many cables. It's replaced all my usual cables. I don't use Niteize anymore, I don't use velcro ones as much anymore. The velcro ones are good for the thicker cables though.

      When I see people who carry rubber bands for “the girls’ hair”, I think they must hate their girls 😅 hair bobbles/ties/bands are so much more versatile.

    Hey thanks for your video! I've watched a few of yours so far and mostly agree with you on the SAK/Knipex combo, much lighter and overall more versatile. I did find myself wondering at times what thought you put into what you might anticipate using your EDC tools for? I would love to know what your use cases are on a more or less daily basis. I'm not sure I'd feel as confident as you with say just the Rambler and Knipex which you talked about in another video. That's why I was happy to see your kit which you carry close to hand.
    I like kits but one I carry with me everywhere is perhaps a bit too loaded out for some but I don't want to have three or four different purpose ones I might forget so I've tried my best to consolidate the common elements of each to come to one kit to carry in my bag.
    I suppose we can go on for hours on this topic but I always wondered why you chose a Rambler over a Compact? With the latter you have larger albeit less robust blade than in an Alox but surely more useful than what's on the Rambler. Then you have bigger scissors and a combo tool that can tackle larger Philips heads than the smaller Rambler version. Add to this that you have the very same scale tools and the addition of a pen and a hook/file combo and pin for ejecting SIM cards etc...

      I have a Compact too and I seriously gave it a lot of consideration especially after a bunch of praise by JonGadget :P I even have a modded one where the parsel tool was changed into a flathead. But ultimately i went with the Rambler, even after giving the Compact a try, because the Rambler just fits so perfectly in a keychain. Between the scissors of the Rambler and the scissors of the Compact - while larger, they still pretty much do the same things, ie I can use the scissors as a box cutter or to cut things. The Knipex XS I use actually on a lot of random things. It's been incredibly useful but it's not in my pocket but within reach, in my workoffice cabinet, in my car glove compartment, and near my computer desk. (I have 3 Knipex XS around). Ultimately the biggest advantage of the Compact is the knife -- but I think because I've more recently gotten into pocketknives I find I'd rather just have a good pocket knife than a Vic knife. (That said, Baldur's Gate 3 has completely and thankfully killed all my interest in pocket knives so I think I may be done with them) :P

    I started to think this was a mistimed April fools prank, you modified a space pen into a normal pen, kinda like buying a Ferrari and swapping the engine with a micro car engine 🤦🏻‍♂️
    You can use almost any pen or pencil with rite in the rain paper, except gel pens.
    I really hope this is a joke video…

    • @Dracomies
      @Dracomies  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most fountain pens don't work nicely with Rite in the rain papers. Also I understand - it's strange - but in the end a Space pen writes like a Bic pen to me and I have other pens that have a much more pleasant writing experience.

      @@Dracomies I cannot comment on fountain pens, no one I know uses a fountain pen, I don’t think anyone in the 21st century would include a fountain pen in their everyday carry…
