I made some stamps, but I glued a small square of core board on the back as a handle to lift it off easier. Love your idea s. I’m from Perth, West Australia.cheers.
Just ordered 2 brayer that were on your favourite supply list Susan, white rice paper and 8 x 10 geli plate as only had 5 x 7 plate. Looking forward to trying some of your techniques Susan when order comes in. I really love how you made your own stencils to add texture to your work. Thanks for inspiring me.❤
Wow! That’s so great to hear Dianne, the prints would work beautifully with your style of painting and collage combined. Loving the new series you posted recently, gorgeous ladies 😀
Fun to make your own mark makers. I have never tried wooden pieces before. Your stamp only picks up (removes) paint when it is clean. In order to continue to get a better image, stamp off onto paper between each time you stamp on the plate.
So often I have wanted to add some text in a subtle way. Love it on the tissue or lighter paper. Very interested in your online course in botanical printing and will soon get there. Thanks for all you do.
Thank you so much, just a heads up. I will be closing the Botanical course at the end of October, if you purchase now you will have lifetime access to all the content and any new or updated content when I release the course again in the spring as a 6 week signature course 😀 www.susanmccreevy.com/botanical-online-class
Hi Susan, I love your videos - very inspirational! II also love the organic feel to the stencils you make. I tried searching for the video you mentioned in your tutorial on how to make the stencil with the PVC glue and fine sand, but I can't find it on your TH-cam channel. Could you let me know the title of the video or send me the link? Thanks so much for your inspirational art ☺
Hi 👋 I’m glad you are enjoying the videos. The collagraphs made with sand are demonstrated in my free course “The Essence of Landscape” Here is the link to sign up 😀 mailchi.mp/271b2aef4d82/b25pids6vo
Hi there, I’m unsure what you mean? I haven’t heard of silicon carbide.I do use carborundum for my collagraph plates to give some tooth to the print, for this I use a fine grade and a coarse grade.
Hey Susan🥰 Wondering what would happen with a fine must over the drier surface? I have a lot more ideas when I watch your videos too. TFS. Do you use your printed images to make cards or journals? Ta!
Hi Linda, I’m glad you are enjoying the videos and feeling inspired 😀 I posted a few more videos. The one showing how I use my gelli prints will show the many different ways I use them and sketchbook collage demo part 1 and 2 shows how I I use them in sketchbooks and baby board books.

Enjoy all your videos and love your work and am inspired to have a go. Could you please tell me what grade of silicon carbide you use? Thank you.

When you put the letters and numbers on do they need to read or be back to front? I get so confused when printing.
No, it will print the right way round when you lift it off the plate 😀👌 put the letters on the stamp so you can read them 👍
@@susanmccreevyartistthank you
Are your letters, etc., made of wood?
Yes, they are wooden letters 👌
