Thank you for showing how to do this! I fix EVERYTHING, but I couldn't quickly figure out the order of operations for this. I love you! You're wonderful!
I'm so impressed! - especially that you managed to sew the seams with your machine! I just finished a similar repair, replacing one entire side of a pocket in a pair of cargo pants. I was able to do two seams by machine, but the other two were by hand. What a neat tidy job you made of it! Thank you for sharing.
I agree to replacing the pocket entirely but not many people have patients for that lol My jacket pocket is in worse condition and after watching this video I am going to do just that. Maybe make it a little bigger for my phone :)
I agree, but at 15/hr minimum wage plus the cost of materials and location, it's a better value to buy new. People don't associate the impact of minimum wage laws on repair work, but it's real. Of course, the driver behind much of this is scarce housing. Zoning is a killer.
Just wanted to say this music reminds me so much of Final Fantasy 7 and it's beautiful soundtrack- specifically, "Who are you?" or "Lifestream". Excellent choice.
handicapitation You mean you don't have a quick unpick, some spare matching fabric and want to remake rather than mend. Just look for another method. This is not for beginners. Guys, do not cut your clothes which you love so much you are willing to mend them. Don't be intimidated. It's a good video but it's totally unnecessary for beginners. You can do this, just not with this method. Great skill to learn a simpler, unprofessional way.
Take your shorts to a tailor my guy. If it's a pair of shorts you really like then you can get them fixed for less than a price of a new pair of shorts and you don't have to go through the trouble of finding new shorts you feel me?
I have no idea how you were able to sew that on a sewing machine. Such tight corners, how you were able to get only the layer you were working on... I usually just close off (sew shut) the damaged portion, or sew a lining, then sew it in to the original pocket leaving the damaged portion in place for reinforcement. But, you did it. Good on yer. I have actually used old in tact socks as pockets. Not, mind you, in anything fancy...
I have an increasing number of clothing items that are showing their age, have tears, and need repairs. I need a woman just like this. Will you marry me??

Good job! The new patch is unnoticeable. Thanks for the tutorial.

You make it looks so easy.
Gorgeously done. Far easier than could be imagined. Thank You!

We all need to recycle, and not buy constantly new products, so thumbs up !

Beautiful job!!
I’m a super newb and I hope I can do it after watching This.
Step 1: Make the hole bigger
I'm even more convinced that it would be easier to just disassemble the pants and start with an entirely new pocket piece.
Very easy! Thank you
Very nice idea super mom 👍
Bravo, misp. Beautiful inside AND out --Now I am inspired, thanks!
Wonderful!
Thank you for this great tutorial x

Vad är Taktsockor?
@sonjajonasson5530 ah, that was a typo (mistake). Should be intact, not tact. Intact means one piece, no holes.
Does this person have whiskers?
She’s overdoing!!!!
who needs the music
This made no sense to me.
I had a stroke while watching this. :/
