She suggested that we should accept any expected discount/claims or shipping by air after new production. My boss asked me "Longer or shorter?" when I reported this terrible situation over the phone. He immediately ordered me to accept claims , if any, and move the goods to the port as scheduled with a short encouragement "Don't worry at all!". What happened after delivery ? The buyer placed repeat orders. 😂 ( If the sleeves had been 2.5" shorter, NO chance. )

I always do this and sew it by hand which is hardly noticeable till i point it out to colleagues. im quite good at needlework by hand passed down by my mother so i never ever felt the need for machines except for major sewing which ive not come across just yet. ❤❤😂😂😂

That looks great, but the problem I've always had is the original cuff is narrower than the upper part of the sleeve which the cuff needs to be attached to (see 1:25). In other words, there is excess circumference in the upper sleeve. Do you just stretch the cuff to match the upper sleeve? Does that mean this won't work if the material does not stretch like knit, unless you make a pleat or two in the upper sleeve.?
That is so useful to me, sleeves are always too long for me, I will be giving this a try thank you

I had thought of doing this, but the problem is that the cuff doesn't lie flat and the seam jabs into your wrist on the inside.

You can try stretching the cuff slightly or add a pleat in the upper sleeve if the material does not stretch.
