I bought it so i could have more control over the light to make my tiger moray eel feel more safe.
Fluval aquasky 2.0's auto light control feature helped me do that.

Been using these for ages very cool can grow decent plants and corals oh and the new Roma and shakers come with the same light as standard if you have the O series filters
Just bought one of these lights, I have a 70L tank, it’s 60cm wide and I believe only the 12W version would fit comfortably, I’m hoping it will be bright enough

Great vid, ive ordered this for my fluval roma 125.. Do i have to remove old bulbs b4 fitting , I believe the led light comes with adapter brackets ? .cheers

Thanks mate. Ive got the Roma 240. Ive been looking for some advice on size of the plant 3.0 light. I currently have TMC Aquagros but the controller isnt working.
Looks like Im upgrading!
Aquasky is definitely worth it, but you’ll need the slightly bigger one for the 240. The 25w won’t cover the whole aquarium unfortunately

Great tank. Nice set up. Love the eel. The 27 watt aquasky is the right size light for the 200. Looks like the 25 w does a decent job though.

No worries mate. It gives you the sizes for the light on the side of the box. Can I ask where you got your eel from and what driftwood you used in your tank?. The peice on the left is nice !

@@jamiemills5783 I got my eel from my local fish store which is "wholesale tropicals" in bethnal green london. They've always got a great selection in there! I also got the driftwood from there but it was only labeled as driftwood so can't give you a specific name unfortunately. Finding good pieces of driftwood comes down to luck really 😅

I got a fluval fish tank is 200L I’m using the old bulb fluorescent will can I disconnect the old one and upgrade it with this led one
You should be fine, as far as I know the aquasky should be compatible with any fluval aquarium, as long as you buy the correct size of course
Now that you have used this light for a while, Does it grow plants okay? I have 3 of the 3.0's on different tanks but am in need of another light but would like to save a few bucks
It definitely grows plants. One of my lily pads that didn't grow at all with my old light started flourishing when i introduced the aquasky 2.0 😁 I had to play with the light settings to stop algae from taking over my tank lol

@@ScoobzNPetz hii mate… I watched that video after I message you.. great video.. Still looking at tanks maybe second hand because for that size they quite expensive… Plus still confused about cycle your new tank and the rest about ammonia and other thing
@@strballr If you do buy a second hand tank, make sure you see it in person before you buy it and then check the silicone seals. If a fish tank is really old it may need resealing. When it comes to the cycle and ammonia, Id recommend you watch some more videos on youtube. There are many videos by other creators who explain it in great detail. It may seem confusing at first but once you understand the basics it'll get much easier!
Did you cut your lid to accommodate the canister filter i have this tank and want and external filter instead of the u4
Yeah I did, well I took it to the local fish store and they cut it for me. And yeah I don’t understand why fluval ships the Roma with the u4.. it’s not strong enough 😅
