@@tokyospain we actually had to throw away a dead fighting pitbull someone dumped in the yard next door to us a few weeks ago. not one single city dept would come for it.
my bf got a friend to help him get it into a bag &then into the big city trashcan &it got picked up. it was a sad nightmare. we have washed the can like a dozen times w bleach but it's still pretty bad.
I could definitely see the story about the garbage man who helped the woman fix her garage as the beginning of a romance novel. He was so chivalrous and kind. I loved it 😍

Hey bro. Been subscribed for probably two years. Damn, you have always been there. And have helped me a lot with my issues of sleeping. I can’t sleep in a completely dark room unless there is sound of music or someone talking. If I don’t, I get super shitty sleep paralysis dreams. And I know that this happens because I have purposefully went into sleep paralysis, by sleeping in a dark room with no sound.its crazy because I’m aware that I’m in a sleep paralysis state, but it is still very terrifying. It’s like being half awake and half asleep, when my eyes were open, a black shadowed figured would slowly morph into a humanoid shape, and when I closed my eyes, ringing sounds would get louder and louder, so it was a conflicting choice of either closing my eyes and hearing loud ringing or opening my eyes and have figures form around me that had a presence of evil until I wake up.
When I stumbled upon this channel I fell in love with it!!! Now I sleep comfortably thanks to you.

When I was 17yrs old, I worked as a “residential sanitation engineer”.
I found it to be humbling yet, oddly enough, morally rewarding.
Not that I ever had the impression that I was socially above others, in fact, I, and my 7 siblings were raised by our perpetually, financially strapped mother who only had a gr.10 education.
When I was 5yrs old, she went back to school to get her diploma during the day and worked in a hospital laundry at night.
I’m the second youngest of 8, and during that time my younger sister and I both thought our eldest sister was our mother. That’s how little we seen of Mom.
She (and her father both) taught me the value of hard work and to have compassion for others, no matter their social status.
Low key, the second story is like the beginning to the cutest love story ever😂💙

I’m a garbage man … the winter had just started I was doing recycling, I was upset since I had forgot my Bluetooth headphones at home . After working for about 4 hours I was going down a street . I heard crying for help a old man said “ help I fell and can’t get up “ I ran to the garage The old man was covered in blood all over his face face and knees . I reached out to pull him up but was worried I would hurt him , after trying I got my driver to help me . We had called an ambulance but he said he didn’t want help , we told the paramedics on the phone to check on him. I haven’t listened to music at work since , never forget that you have an guardian angle. Ever day I had them except that day….

Like I said before, I don't know you, and I don't know what you're going through, but I care about you and support you. I want you to know that, no matter whether or not it's immediately obvious, there's always someone out there who loves you and cares about you. Even if it's a stranger you passed by on the street who you spared a smile and a moment of recognition with, an old friend you barely remember, or a cashier you like to chat with at the grocery store, you've touched their lives, and they'll remember you with a smile and a little extra lightness in their heart. There's even random internet commenters who scroll past countless troll comments, spam, and unrelated memes, only to have their eye caught by a mention of a breakdown; random internet commenters that remember how it felt before and what it feels like now when they've gone through breakdowns and are still gaining new scars, and hope from the bottom of their heart that the person who had that horrible day/week/year that pushed them to a breakdown makes it through to a better day.
They're always out there, and they'd feel the loss if you were gone. Keep that in mind. 😊

I operated a rubbish company 20+ years ago. You can tell a lot about people by what they throw away week to week. The worst I had seen (while not directly involved) was law enforcement looking for a body supposedly disposed of in the landfill. I won't go into details but they weren't successful. As for me personally I used to get side work doing clean outs, was were lucrative business. One day I had to remove a bunch of lab equipment. It looked new. I asked the guy and he said yes that a new client was moving in. I almost kept it all to sell it but had nowhere to store it. The next day he called me and asked if I could retrieve the items as the new client had already moved their items there and we took it. I told him no, it was destroyed in the landfill. He didn't believe I couldn't get it. Like the landfill is a gentle, friendly place where items are softly set down somewhere. I finally told him to call the landfill and ask himself, which he did and called me back. I explained there is a bulldozer not like anything he had seen that crushes trash into dirty and covers it. It probably weighs 30,000 lbs and has wide steel wheels with 8 inch claws all over it not even any rubber. Not sure if he lost his job but bet he was in lots of trouble - today's value of that would likely exceed $25K.
I've heard garbage men get paid pretty good money.

I always hide when the garbage truck drives up. It’s done instinctively. So far so good.
The worst thing that ever happened while I was on my garbage route happened on Jan 28th, 1986, when the space shuttle Challenger blew up shortly after its launch. I pulled the truck over and sat for at least an hour, crying while listening to the radio. Recalling this has me tearing up again.
Other than the occasional can overflowing with loaded and spilling their contents baby diapers, it was a good job despite long hours. Having been farm raised around livestock, I was no stranger to shite. But... aint nuthin worse than human shite. On a happier note, people throw away the darndest stuff... a fired military bazooka, all manner of books and magazines, working TVs and radios, etc. So much good stuff and me being a flea market seller, I rented a storage unit. The job paid off in dividends. RIP to the Challenger crew.

My LetsNeverMeetAgain story (for those who are interested)
One time someone did try and break into my house, and the moment they tried picking my lock I swung open my door and pointed a gun at the man's face. I had a mean look on my face, and as I saw the fear in his eyes, I immediately did the first thing that came to mind, I yelled and told him to get on the ground (I watch too many cop shows) but yea, and as I towered over him with my 9mm in my hand, I noticed a small glow under his shirt, near his chest and wrist, and upon ordering him to show me his face and what was under his shirt, I discovered it was a thick gold rope chain with matching bracelet. So basically long story short I ended up robbing him, and letting him leave unharmed, apart from the scar of knowing that he was robbed instead of him robbing me.
With the try to be robber wearing a gold ⛓️ and being robbed of it.....must've been a terrible blow to his spichood ego.

It was Thursday I was doing commercial. For those that don’t know what commercial garbage collection is , this big claw grabs the bin and lifts into the truck . I was doing my run I was using the handles and the driver was moving the bins into the claw . The day was almost finished…. At the last bins Near public housing had this weird feeling I should lower the bin I emptied slowly… as I lowered the bin this little kid walked right under the bin , if I hadn’t had that feeling he would have died … I didn’t yell I just waved at him when he watched me do the rest of the bins .
