Thanks again Matthew. As this is now a few months old is the only option for AE lock still to assign one of back buttons. I had a perfect example when doing a circle around my house - ruined by light then dark. Thanks again for all the info and the way you explain it. 👏👏

You always have great tips Matthew. Thanks again for a great video. I do use quickshots often and I had not thought of locking the exposure. I do use the feature to draw the box on landscape or fixed items instead of people. Finally, the transitions are always an inspiration! Thanks.

Great video as always Matthew. Always something to learn from these. I only have a mini 2 so not as many quickshots. Really miss the "track" feature though, even my Spark had that feature !
Thank you. You can use the circle quickshot mode to do a very basic track with the Mini 2, and I used to do that all the time with mine. Might be worth trying out!

Thank you Matthew for making this video with these tips. A lot of people seem to think 'oh Quickshots are only for dummies (for lack of a better word) and amateurs' and I'm thinking 'who cares, they look cool'. Yeah okay people may think to themselves 'well why would you have a drone doing that automatically for you when you should be able to manually do it yourself' and okay they are right on some level, but what's wrong with the drone doing these moves for you when you just want to make these moves and don't have time to sit/stand there and manually do it yourself? To each their own though.
Hi Andrew, Great Video! I have a quick question regarding the quick shot feature - Dronie (from near to far) Is there not a way to record the dronie move (from far to near) rather than or without having to reverse the shot in post?
Matt, Love your channel a TON. Is there any way to get a video of yourself ("dronie") where you're not holding the control, or trying to hide it behind your back? That's the only thing I'm seeing that could be super professional looking. Larry
The best youtuber. Question? Why is it that in some moments the drone starts to rise even though I hold the right stick of the joystick, and when I lower it, it breaks through the height and goes into the minus and I barely land it.😊

I’ve noticed something odd when using quick shots, if you set video capture to MOV instead of MP4 in the menus, when selecting a quick shot it always records in MP4 🤔. Are you experiencing this by any chance?? Much appreciated in advance 👍🏼

Hey! Some of these shots used an ND filter and some didn't. This time of year the sun is either out full blast needing an ND or it can be very dull in which case an ND is not needed! Hope that helps!
do i need the DJI RC controller or do quickshots also work with the DJI RC-N1? because i cant find it when using the controller with my phone

Do you know what is the max flight distance you can select for dronie quickshot ? I have the mini before it only gave me maximum distance of 40 m for quickshot

Thanks Matthew! I’m awaiting delivery of my Mini 3 Pro! I have a question regarding the customizable buttons. I guess you’re limited to a handful of commands. I plan to shoot footage while on a boat or kayak and track. It sure would be nice if you could have one of the “C” buttons have the “change home” function (on the fly-pun intended!) instead of having to delve into a menu to change that. Any suggestions?
Hey! You can change the function buttons to do a handful of commands but unfortunately one of them is currently not "update home". This would be a nice feature that could be added in the future! You can still do this using the settings menu and it's fairly quick, but obviously a button press would be nicer.
