    Desoto, Texas is a great well to do black neighborhood. Southlake is not very welcoming of diversity. It's being pushed on them so they have to get use to it. Ft Worth traffic is aggressive. Downtown Dallas is still working on it's dead areas that is still not built up due to people moving there and demanding entertainment. Frisco cool, Little Elm is alrite and Lancaster and Duncanville is another well to do neighborhood if you want your children to feel safe and secure in their neighborhood with all that's going on with black children and the threat of gun happy white people. Desoto, Duncanville and Lancaster is good.

      i think it really depends on the person. I don't like to see every face that looks like mine, yet i don't like to see alot of pale faces either. I definitely agree with the Southlake comment. I worked out there in 2009 and felt like I was the only black person. I got so many evil stares. Have not been back. Also I lived in Duncanville, and broke a lease to move. I was held at gun point in 2012. I currently live in Irving and I love it.

    I’m considering moving to Texas, looking for a diverse area (less racism) No floods, good school system, not a lot of crime.

    I moved from the West Coast to Houston in 2012! I love it!!! Galveston is the Houston area. But Kemah is better as for as the water.

      Austin, Houston and San Antonio like she said about Dallas it's a diverse city. It is beautiful and higher yet it has good schools, jobs etc.
