Consider the commitment Jaheira brings to her pursuits...the sheer fervor displayed in every adversarial moment; if even a dash of that zest were poured into their amorous adventures, Gorion's Ward and The Harper likely left scores of worn cots up and down The Sword Coast.
Bleh any book or person that says Edwin and Viconia were not canon companions to the MC is trash or braindead. All companions where rich in character depth except for a few, and Viconia and Edwin were not among those. And hey, i mostly play good aligned characters so no I'm not biased towards evil npcs.
i was expecting them to have kids and all, from reading all those "I LOVE YOU 4EVER" text dialogues between my char and her. but they end up as platonic "i see you naked once a year" lovers.
The first time I saw the actress Olivia Wilde, I damn near thought she was the person who *posed* for Jaheira's pic. Imagining it like a movie and the actors who play these characters, I think Olivia Wilde would def be a solid choice, looks wise.
@Agent1W Damn right. I still remember the day I got BG1, I was sucha happy kid! Khalid, Jaheira, Imoen, Minsc, Dynoheir (and sometimes Viconia :3 ) my party of bros. I was devastated when they killed Khalid, I was so hoping to get my old party back :c
This is ending is officially non-canon. Charname and Jaheira actually lives happily forever after with their five kids and have kinky oily sex every day. The end. I mean, after Jaheira's moving speech near the end, after the main character literally give up godhood to be with her, they just see each other once a few years? What's the point of all the chemistry and buildups and suspends when the ending is so. Fucking. Shit?
Jason Pham You got to take into account the personalities of the people involved. Jaheira is a person who roams and have strong opinions and constantly gets herself on quests to do things. If the player character picks Jaheira as a romance it is quite likely that he has the same attitude. Really it wouldn't fit for Jaheira + Charname to settle down or even being an adventuring party, they are forces aiming to do something in the world, that requires going places and sometimes separating. Consider this ending and compare it to the Jaheira non-romance ending, they are basically the same ending, one just describes life with Charname and one what Jaheira does in the periods that they are apart. I think this ending perfectly fits Jaheira's personality.
NATIK ? BUT THAT ISN'T WHAT I WANT THOUGH GIVE ME WHAT I WANT Yeah I know since you had a baby with Aerie and settle down with Viconia, it wouldn't make sense if its also the same for Jaheira. But it just felt so sad and underwhelming. There is no reason for Jaheira and charname to stay together or travel the world or something like that, the romance is supposed to change her from a bitter, lone warrior into waifu material. Idk, may be I was too emotionally invested in her storyline, the ending was just too disappointing and far from what I anticipated.
Bossy af. Supports evil 50% of the time due to her alignment and Harper affiliation. Doesn't even wait for Khalid to cool before jumping on Bhaalspawn's holy avenger +5. Also this ending proves that she very rarely puts out.
The flirt pack ones are pretty cool methinks. Although I don't like how the flirt pack made Aerie's role in TOB even more of a horrible kludge than it already was by having the player ascend and grant her new wings with godly powers. Gnagh.
Well, correctly in terms of difficulty and choices. It attempted to make the expansion less linear as well as to provide an even greater challenge before the end. It also modified some of the epilogues slightly to polish some of the weaker endings. I've not had the bugs you've had, though. Maybe I was lucky?
Sucks when Khalid was slain. He was a good man. A bit timid, but he stood for righteousness.

At least they didn't follow the book ending, where she dies

@@kly8105Neither am I. My Chaotic Good male human fighter romanced Viconia.

She my favorite character from Baldur's Gate!

Glad to see her again in BG3 :)

I notice that all the female romances are Elves.. and different elves.. hmm just wondering
true, even neera is a half-elf

Jason Pham Exactly. Such a good and promising romance yet the ending is like WHAT???

Be happy she doesn't get killed of like in the books.
How could anyone hate her?!??!?!?!

i tried getting her to be romanced...but that god damn viconia trolled her way into my desires...bah..
@17thknight Plenty of "Just Like Old Times" moments.

Well, Ascension is pretty much Throne of Bhaal done "correctly" so obviously the epilogues won't be worse.
Protagonist? Really? Was Char-name already taken?
jaheira left my party because they got into a fight with xar and monteron
Just go to sleep, and she will appears afterward
Then she forgot about Charname and went on to get a child together with Halsin. WHY LARIAN WHY???
Better end than Viconia's, cause Viconia die in the end :(
what? no kids? goddammit.
This one actually sucked pretty much. The epolgues from Ascension/NPC Flirt pack were better ;)
