I think that this is my favorite episode of the series by far since it's not like the big hero action shots that always are talked about with VFX, but it's stuff like this and what the work Josée does that make movies actually feel real
Another great ep, you can just tell she's forgotten more about CGI than most people will ever learn. The fine detail in those shots is amazing
This was an excellent episode. The amount of troubleshooting to hand-create the right look in these effects is mind-boggling.
I was part of the SFX team on Paddington 2, great to see you guys talking about it.
Yes, I recall. I had to fix your things many times due to your errors.
Any cool stories about the loveable bear?
She was so nice and wholesome! I want to see more reactions with her
I love how all the Corridor Crew are huge nerds about VFX and everything they do. They get excited over little things no one would notice!!! (To clarify this is a huge compliment. I am a nerd about software. I appreciate anyone being a nerd about anything)
I started watching VFX artists react when the first episode came out most 3 years ago. Back then I was about to start school for video game production so I was soaking up every bit of VFX knowledge I could. I eventually dropped put of that school and decided upon a different career path, but I always come back for these videos because it's still just an amazing series to watch. Crazy how far it's come since then. Happy 60 episodes and keep up the good work!
This has been the best episode so far. She’s great and detail oriented
This was actually one if not the most informative episode. I loved it.
I agree! It was like a free class
The detail on Paddington is freaking incredible.
probably one of your most insightful one from this series. It's pretty hard to get insights of that level on such big movies. Thanks a lot
A perfect trio for the couch on this episode, with Wren guiding the discussion, Josee providing the project insight, and Jordan providing the technical context. Great episode!
refreshing to see another woman on the couch with some amazing insight. bring her baaackkkk!
This was a great episode. I love the more in-depth look at the techniques, but also appreciated when Joseé was talking about how she combined various techniques to achieve the final result. A lot of episodes have been made it seem like you only needed one technique or system to create the final result, where in reality you improvise and combine techniques meant for somethimg different to create something new.
Great episode, this one really dove into the technical part of SFX, but in a fun and engaging way. We need more Josee and more Jordan please!
Josée was a really good guest to have on the couch! Such a good sport and with that much experience too!
Jordan has such a great energy. I would absolutely love to see him more on this couch and everywhere in your videos
As someone who wants to learn CGI I can say, these videos are really informative
Josée was an absolute LEGEND with her explanations, Great episode, and mind blowing work !
Another fun episode. Josee and Jordan were really great to watch. Josee is a great teacher btw. She went into details that no one would even notice. Kudos to the great work they're doing
One of the best episodes so far! Love that Josée actually goes in to some technical detail about the solutions. More of that please! And the clarification questions from Jordan really helped tie it all together to something very informative and inspiring.
This was a great episode! Josée was especially wonderful. Good work everyone. I also just have to applaud all the hard work and salesmanship that Jordan is putting into the sponsored segment. Your work is appreciated too!
Josée went into so much details while remaining fun and engaging, what a great guest ! I hope she comes back !
Wren- great as always, Josee passionate, funny and very well informed, Jordan- enthusiastic, knowledgeable and off to a great start on the couch
We can all agree that Corridor Crew never disappoints us with his content
Ah I love corridor crew the person
Yeah, he's great. I love Mr. Crew
His? How did you learn they're really a singular entity expressing themselves through multiple avatars?
He is great, isn’t he
Their*
What a specialist and beautiful personality! Thanks for inviting Josée!
