Introducing the Electra E5, Buick’s LAST HOPE

I began to feel sad for Buick, when I was going over the last 20 years history of the marque. It was one of the ancestors of the American cars, the predecessor of General Motor, but the outcast of the American market in 2010s.
With only 1.2% of market share in the U.S. in 2022, I say the Electra E5 was the one last chance for Buick to rejoin the game in the electrified world.
(Well, it is cheaper and better than Tesla Model Y in China, at least.)

I love Buicks. My mom had a 1969 Electra
225 convertible . What a fabulous car. I’m really excited to see this one when it gets to the US.
