Thanks, I had a hunched over neck and couldn’t stand straight right, I was originally 5’9 when I go to stand up straight but after I did these exercises I was able to stand up straight at a height of 5’10 and have much better posture
Thank you for your videos which I accidentally found. What I like in your videos is your instructions which are clear, short, and to the point. I am looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you for sharing your knowledge for good health of all.
Thank you so much! My torso is awkwardly tall for my school desk so I have awful posture and I’ve gone down a half of an inch in height but I’m hoping this will help me more! 💕
2 additional things for anyone struggling with this, while not actually a stretch it's still very important to try sitting with proper posture in the first place, raise your monitor up on a box so you can sit up with a straight back and not be hunched over/ Secondly, I also like to add in some wrist rolls/forearm stretches, as my forearms tend to get a little tight as well.
Great input . I will do a ERgonominc workspace video soon . in the mean time for anyone watching check out my wrist mobility and stretch video . th-cam.com/video/hJ3XICFLxvU/w-d-xo.html
I'm normally a very active dude, but since the gyms closed down and I've been stuck at home working hunched over at my dinner table I've been having shoulder pains (feels like impingement) and I'm pretty convinced it's due to poor posture from sitting at my dinner table and also not getting any workout done. I'll try these excersises out, thanks!
to save time: 1. Neck rolls (left 20x right 20x) 2. Shoulder rolls 20x (3 - 4 sets) 4. Shouldler chest opener (stretch arms backwards holding the position for 30 sec in 4-5 sets) 5. Spine Twists (twist your back and hold for 5 consecutive breaths in 4 - sets Ok i can't be bothered writting it all but these are the ones that I did and my back feels forceibly straight but it feels like I can easily go back into the posture
Hey there, I find when I do the neck rolls I get dizzy/light-headed after a few - is this common? Do you find this goes away over time, if so? Thank you!
Might be an inner ear problem, some people are prone to forming tiny crystals in the fluid in their inner ear and when they become unsettled, it causes vertigo. It's called 'benign paroxysmal positional vertigo'
I am 71 with 40 years of watching screen for 12 hours a day. Can you.please give me exercises like swingihng lower part of my loer back and similar. How much time I shouls spent watching screen while standing and while sitting. Pls give a strict regime to.practise it like a clock.alert ti get away from PC work for some time. Thank. You are real good.
So i gotta ask for APT exercises can do planks also even if i do streches and what is the time and is it really fixable like getting it to a normal posture. I am really subing to your channel will do those exercises and also fpr the neck curvature i want it to have a healty normal curve. Best regards from Bosnia and Herzegovina
Maybe I missed it in the video but how often and when you are supposed to do this? Once a day, twice? Before, during or after work? Just want to make sure I do not overdo these, probably like with everything, too much might be bad for you.
I noticed this too when I watched the earlier videos. Honestly you look much better being chubbier. ☺️ You look more mature and “credible” in your craft.

@@nickrios7788 Does it prevent it happening again if one is working on desk job?

Same with me 🤷
No shit bc your head's spinning round
Thanks a ton
Great video. really helped. I'm just surprised you have a chair that doesn't support your back while working from home.
The official TH-cam has just touched this video! 💪▶️
Thanks for letting me know I was really excited
One question: What's the frequency of repetitions through out the day ? Great stuff, thanks.
Once a day after work would be good or long session at a desk
I like all your videos and they are very helpful!
Awesome video, just want I needed lol!
Great video! How many times a day should you do this? :)
Thank you for the video!
Thank u Dr Nick

Let me know if wich stretch you enjoy the most. 🙏❤️
I already have the hump you mentioned any help pls
Hamstrings! Thanks a lot for these wonderful videos!
All of them!
Its which dude i enjoyed the second one
My favorite movement stretch was when you were rotating your back against the chair. Heard many pops and cracks.
Is it safe to do these before a workout at the gym?
Yes. It probably will make you stronger.
good!
Great stuff mate, thanks! :)
Anyone got any stretches for my lower back? Anytime I look down I get a sharp pain in my lower back / coccyx area?
I crack my neck and I do have to say it recreates a whiplash and hurts sometimes like a nerve pain.
Thank you!
Sir I feel pop and crack sound while moving down and twisting.
I already take b12 and d3 calacium precribe by doctors
What can I do?
TH-cam tweeted out your video!

Good stuff! Tfs!💪
also, if you sit for long periods , check out stretch videos on ‘anterior pelvic tilt.’
You can find several from this channel
:)

during shoulder rolls, I can hear the sound of my joints, is this normal?
Laying down during quarantine fucked me up lol,I have a really bad tilted pelvis now rounded shoulders
I tried but I got pains in my shoulder n elbow
If you lay down on your belly and using the laptop. The body will curve like a cobra in yoga exercise, is that going to help fix your desk posture?
It's not bad for your lower back. But you will relax your neck. And cause neck issues
Neck rolls feel so good. Total body hack
I do it all the time during the day. To loosen me up and stop being so stiff
I’m not at the desk ok
0:45 OK, you lost me with the neck rolls. People, don't listen to this, that motion is gonna get you hurt
Have you gained weight...😉
Worst. I havnt gained weight. But look chubby. Meaning i lost muscle and gained fat... Lol
