Great vid, I've had my xb led headlights since launch. And I'm still in love with the way they make the truck looks. I did have to swap out one of mine headlights due to a bad seal, but the process to do a warranty exchange was painless. Also ended swapping out the fogs for the new 4bangers from morimoto. Overall morimoto does make a great product. Glad to see your enjoying your headlights

You've sold me on the Morimoto's. My 2011 Tundra's headlamps got pretty glazed. I've used a kit on them twice to make them clear again, but they honestly look pretty shit. My truck's also lifted like your's and I often get people flashing me because my old OEM reflector housings are dazzling oncoming driver's with the LED's in them.
I really need better night time lighting, living in Canada with our long winters and short days. I'd also like to not be a dick and blind oncoming drivers. These Morimoto's seem like a worthwhile investment. Cheers! 🍻

Mine are still so solid! They are a great product and really modernize the front of the truck. Yeah, it's definitely no joke. But the way I looked at it is that I got this truck for 22K with 80K miles on it and a comparable current gen would have been $35K+ for basically the same frame, drivetrain, etc... If you can stand the older style interior, throwing these lights on really does make the truck look unique and modern and allows my ole'ass eyes to see the road at night. LOL -- Take care!

Did you have to adjust them? I bought a set for my 2008 Tundra. I had to do vertical and horizontal adjustments. I know how to make these adjustments. I'm not happy about the low beams. I used the shine them on a wall method. I think the center height on the truck was 46" I put tape on the wall and adjusted the blob to 1" below that mark. I since adjusted them maybe 2" above that mark with no complaints from other drivers. What I'm thinking is the center of the blob should be 1" below the center height of the headlight not the top of the blob. I also had to make the horizontal adjustment. My beans were crossed eyed. I did read the service manual for the 2009 Tundra but it isn't clear. What I suggest is before changing out the headlights is to make your marks using the factory beam setup. Then you will have a guide to go by.

Hones Review: The DTRs is great and they appear to be of good quality construction but that's it. They are subpar low beam brightness and they project dark spots. They came completely out of adjustments the both headlights were shining down and to the left. I spent more then 3 hours to adjust them, they have no cut-off because they are reflector leds not projectors so it was very hard to see on the wall where the center of the beam is. It's like adjusting normal halogen without a special equipment. Forget about the provided adjustment guide it's a joke. You need to figure out alone what to turn and in which direction. The high and low leveling adjuster is at good spot and easy to rotate but the left and right leveling adjuster is at the worst spot ever at the end under the fender. It's not enough that it's in a bad place but it's also a tiny 8mm nut for which you need small 8mm wrench. You don't see it actually you need to touch, feel it and rotate it with the wrench by feel and to have a very small hands. I had to remove the water reservoir for the wipers to be able to adjust the right headlight. My advice is to go to the nearest workshop to adjust them with special equipment. I didn't see that they are actually reflector leds wehn I bought them honestly didn't expect it from headlights for 1000+$ For reflector leds they are way overpriced should be around 500$ mark. I wish I can return them but it's complicated because I'm in Europe and I've already paid extra 450$ for import duties and shipment. Shame subpar beam with a lot of irritierend dark sport! I'm very disappointed from this headlights. At least I hope they will last, will see ...

Thus far they are great! The only weird thing is that the DRL's turn on when the lights are in the off switch, so if the truck is running there is not a good way to turn off the lights completely... I can't remember what the stock lights are like, but there are some scenarios where I would like to be able to turn the lights off completely... But.. Other than that, no regrets!!!
