i love the fisherman knit stitch. Thank you for showing the knit approach to this fabric. There's also a purl version and K1 P1 version. I personally prefer the K1 P1 method, as you knit the knits with k1b, purl the purls and repeat. It's not a 2 row repeat, just a single row repeat.
I just started watching your videos this week. I could literally only do garter stitch. I am now confident in moss, seed, diamond brocade and heqrtnlace eyelet. I come back every day for new challenge and I am obsessed ❤❤❤
Thank you--very clear and well filmed. I've watched several videos trying to get a grip on this pattern (I know, right? But for some reason I was puzzled by it), and yours is by far the best.
Could you post a video on how to fix mistakes when knitting this in the round? I frogged a few rows and thought I had picked everything up in the correct position, but when I got started knitting on the next row there were big loops hanging from the new stitches. Something obviously went wrong somewhere but I don't know what. Help! 😭
Thanks for watching! Get your free printable pattern in my Studio Knit website here ➡️ www.studioknitsf.com/fishermans-rib-stitch/

Glad it was helpful!
Love that its flat. Looks really comfy. Thank you for mentioning it takes more yarn than the usual rib stitch
You are so welcome!
Thanks for showing this pattern in the round. It’s fun to do flat, but think this would be good for hats.
Your channel is great and you are a wonderful teacher!!!! THANK YOU
I love reversible patterns and this is a good pattern for knit hats since it is stretchy. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the tutorial!!
You're so welcome!
Hi would love this stitch in a cozy sweater. Still cold in Cali. You should design one 😁
Great idea!
knitting flat you can cast on an even number of stitches and *K 1, K 1B* for the pattern repeat - same on both sides. Could not be easier.
