@@lifeofbonsai I actually just saw a purple one and a red one at a business while driving to work today. Funny how I never noticed them till I watched your video. I looked online and it seems some of the more dwarf varieties can be cold hardy to zone 6, but the normal species is 7 possibly. I will have to look into the dwarf red kinds. Do they grow from cuttings well? I might have to stop by that business building 😁

Crape Myrtle is definitely something I need to try, I love the red flowering ones. Though my climate is borderline too cold for them zone 6
@@DeciduousSnurb they are beautiful . Zone 6 is a bit too cold for them, sometimes we have nice trees we want to grow but our climate doesn't allow 😩
