My only question/ concern would be when you water are you pouring water down onto the balconies below you?
Haha not at all, had this question before . I water the trees but carefully to were i barely see a bit of water dripping from the pot, then move to the next and do it again to water throughly . It takes time but helps with not bothering anyone 😁
@@lifeofbonsai I have a similar set up on a balcony and worry about it myself. I try to do like you said but others say you need to water it heavily, but your trees are looking nice and healthy so I think your method is working.
Thanks
👍
Bro I lost it when I say little hand 😂😂😂 wasn’t expecting that. You got a new follower!
Haha thank you so much 😅 makes it way easier to point at things lol. Thanks for the support
❤❤❤❤❤
Very creative i love your setup
Thank you very much 😁
Question - how do you water these trees without your neighbor in the lower floor complaining?😀
Put a tray under the pots like you do with indoor trees
Lovely setup, you have done a great job in this small space👍
Thank you so much😁 and that's a funny question haha. Actually i really make sure that it doesn't drip too much whn watering . Lol
You gotta make do with what you got ! I had an apartment with no balcony so i grew my Tropicals inside under growlights for 4 yrs. I moved since then have a home with a small backyard and my trees have been outside from spring thru summer for 2 yrs. Anyways God bless you brother. Great video!
Yes that is true. Jst as long as we get species that work with what we have. But thats nice, by next year i should have a better space available to get more trees 😁😁
small space but its really nice with them beautiful trees
Thank you very much . The trees do give life to my balcony
Same here bro i have a very small space in the 3rd floor and some 36 tree's ( its increasing 😅)
Hahah then i guess i should be getting more trees haha. Is so hard to not keep getting more and more
Waw mantap bosku koleksi bonsainya semoga sukses diprogram bonsainya 👍👍🙏🙏

Beautiful Nebari...I want to try something similar with my African Tulip plant....Keeping fingers crossed.
Oh that sound like a really nice project honestly . I think it can be done
That is a nice looking Cypress. Loved the mini tour as well
Thank you very much . Really happy about this tree
Nice Balcony,! Which direction does it face? Are you going to pump up the Light with Grow lights? I have a balcony grow and a few Bald Cypress in Alameda California but they will not grow as fast as yours because our weather is not near as hot as they can take. I intend to grow my 3 tree compilation in a formal upright style as I think flat tops dont do much for me and they should in my opinion have more foliage than the flat Tops allow especially when confined to a restricted pot. I made a mistake and planted mine in fine Akadama thinking that was the thing to do since then I learned that at our stage of development, we want big roots to make big wood to give us taper and ramification so a training pot for now, and chunky bigger pieces of sub straight and that near Houston Heat and that thing could be beautiful in four years. The closer to the top your next cut is the more fluted and elegant the tree. Nice Show. I grew up in Orange on the Tx.La border,.but I would not recommend it. Cheers=P
Hello, great question i am not too sure which side it faces , but i lose sunlight after November up until mid February , i have thought about grow lights jst not sure how good they do, but i have only decideous trees dormancy helps with the no light, and yes i feel the same about bald cypress with the traditional style upright , I feel like flat tops always look incomplete for some reason . This texas weather have the trees really growing like crazy
@@lifeofbonsai Wow, cool you are right about the deciduous Trees. You can use your phone as a compass and if you line it up with the outside rail you will then know. I use LED Grow lights they are called F1s and they supply enough light to grow weed so I thought they would be fine and that turned out to be the case I burn them 5 or six hours a day to add punch for sunshine that might be in and out during the day or season. They love it and the electricity isn't much compared to the older HMI lights.. Finally this. I am an older Trans woman who felt like I had to leave my home years ago to seek help that would not try to harm me. It is good to see beautiful young people enjoying Bonsai from near home. So thank you for the reply back and If you have any Bonsai/ Rigging questions that you think I may have answers to please ask. Cheers -P
@@PatriciaOConnorBonsaiBalcony thank you so much for this tips. I will definitely look into investing on this lights. I have one more month and half of sun then my trees won't get any sun at all. I really do appreciate your support 😁 and tips
Wicked Carlos Gonna be a stunning bonsai 👊👊👊
Thank you. I am excited about this one
this tree is really cool wow
I really like it😁
Do you think this would work with American hornbeam?
I think it could work i would definitely give it a try. Those ties should works only thing is id keep an eye to make sure it doesn't bite into the trunk, rafia is a bit stretchy so it helps avoid bites or marks
Could you use plastic zip ties instead of raffia? They would allow you to pull the branch tighter.
nice tree...almost looks like fused together trunks...
Thank you. Yes i was thinking that too lol
Shame it was chopped was probably nice at one time.
Yeah it was collected from the wild
