I've had my 5.11 24 hour bag for about 8 months. I'm an H-60 flight engineer, and I use it as my flight bag. This thing is still going strong. No rips, tears, broken zippers; its and excellent pack and worth every dime imo
i have the 12 & 72
looks like the 24 is just the right size for a go-bag
these bags are tuffer than hazzard4 and cheaper - they are a bit heavy, thats because they are very strong and well made.
5.11 all the way
I appreciate the input! Thanks for watching and the support of E2E. Take care

Good bag, very tough. The pocket that he has his pants in holds a good size laptop vertical and centered in the bag for good protection. Has enough pockets that you can honestly lose things in it. It's heavy on its own, but just because of tougher material.
Weekend car camping trip to the outer banks in NC over July 4 turned into a backpacking trip, had brought the 24 and not my actual backpacking rig because I wasn't expecting to have to carry long distances. I strapped so much crap to that bag it had to have weighed 50 pounds! It held fine, but I was feeling the lack of hip belt to distribute the weight.
Only thing I'd change is to put a water bottle holder on it.
I'm a medic in the US Army and I own this bag as my personal EDC bag / Med bag. If you look at the military issue M9 Aid Bag, the one I carry during duty it is almost identical in function to the main compartment of the Rush bag. We use a system of Velcro in tube like organization pouches stacked on top of one another to organize all our gear from our Israeli bandages to kravats to IV kits. So when you add the outside organization pouches and not using all the inside compartments for medical supplies this bag in my opinion is one of the best on the market for mixing an EDC bag while having the ability to carry a lot of medical supplies with you unnoticed 24/7 for whenever the shit hits the fan.
Enjoyed this video! All the best!!

Your Computer Set-Up is Awesome!
Great review, Adam. The new website in the background is looking sa-weet.
This is awesome...ive been looking into getting this bag but was unsure...thank you for the great review...i think im good to get it now!
The short intro here is a real IMPROVEMENT over the long one in other videos. Good job!! :)
Thumbs up if you agree.
Thank You - Glad you found the video informative.

I use to own the Rush 24 but then i sold it for a MaxP V2, but then I sold that for an Eberlestock GS2. It's a great back. I own the Rush 12 as my EDC/School/day hike pack. Great stuff!
great review, like to hear the good and the bad......thanks...
Very good review. Thanks
Nice bag, looks pretty sturdy. Liking the Blackbird mounted on the side.
Love this setup
I have this bag. Just got it about a month ago. Useing it currently for a BOB. I find it to be perfect. At least for the items I chose for it. The 2 small pockets up top hold my fire kit and signaling options (mirror, whistle, bandans) perfect. Each pocket it just about perfect for my uses. Cant say enough good about it. Havnt got to rough use it yet, but so far seems a great choice for me. The molle allows me to have my guyot on the outside allowing more space inside.
Thanks for the feedback
great review
I have a 24 and a 72 and love them both. Not a bag I carry everyday just because you sometimes get 'that' look. But a great bag for a bob and some day to day stuff.
looks like another great product from 5.11....looks more like a weekender than a 24hr bag tho. Great info. Thanks Adam.
excellent review! thank you. If I have the 5.11 Covert, but need a little more space, would you suggest just going for the Rush 72 Backpack rather than this Rush 24?
What kind of Packable Jacket was that? Thanks.
keep up with the reviews please, even if I don't use it or have a need for it sure other will.
Adam:I bought the Rush 24 on your recommendation, for a bottle holder I went with maxpedition 10" x 5" bottle holder. has an outer ocket where I keep 10@potable aqua water purification tabs & more room for beverage flavor packets.
great review. the bag you have is the older version. the new one has fixed some of the things you talked about. it now has lashing points on the bottom and buckels to add a waist belt.
also got rid of every bag but this one. great bag for anything
just picked one up and it has loops on the bottom great vid
THANK YOU!! ive been laughed at for putting 2 tubes of chapstick in my bob lol, i am waiting on the rush 72 hour bag from 5.11.. huge improvement from my north face normal backpack haha always improving! thanks dave! -Fish
JLFish21 did you have a north face borllias before the rush??
What did you think to the rush compared to the north face? I currently have a north face and looking to upgrade to a Rush.
Thanks for your answer
adams gaming room at the end ftw
Anything out of 1050D will weigh a ton: doesn't matter on maker (5.11, Maxpedition, Spec Ops). It will be more abrasion resistant than typical camping gear - so that's the tradeoff. Love me the Kelty Redwing which is larger than this, has a psuedo-frame, & is lighter per volume. BUT the PALS points do give options even if you don't usually use them. I find the 72 Hr RUSH to be the best of the 5.11 series-worth the extra weight because it's massive, good org, & has PALS. Another great review!
I personally have both the rush 24 and the rush 72. No matter the size of the backpack, the amount of gear and weight you can carry is completely dependent on what you are packing it for, and how capable you are of carrying the weight for how long. I'm a big fan of better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. But, I also do my best not to over pack. If you want some great suggestions on what to include and what not to include, check out Dave Canterbury's videos as well. He does a great job of highlighting the "do less with more" aspect of bushcraft.
big fans!
You can also use a M16 dual magazine pouch molle'd to the side for any standard bicycle sized water bottles.
Does not look like a bad bag. Would be decent for a work load out. One thing I wish I had the capabilities of doing was making my own packs. So the never ending search still continues.
I just bought the Rush 72 bag...the yoke is nicer than Voodoo Tactical's equivalent, and the construction seems solid. Nice feature in the Rush series, is you can strap the little Rush Moab bags to the larger Rush packs...strap an EDC to a Bug Out Bag kind of thing..
nice! thanx for this video) I'm fron Ukraine and I'm new in all this qestion! What will be useful to buy with this this bag for update? I mean maybe there special good for this model? Sorry for my english
is the rush72 the only version with a waist strap and loops at the bottom or comes it also with the rush24 - updated version?
i´m considering whether to buy the Rush24 or the COVRT18 back pack. both great
Glad you enjoyed the video. Hope you are able to get out and use the Rush Backpack soon. Let us know what you think! Take care, and thanks for watching
-Adam
Mystery Ranch sells clip-on compression straps that slide on to the PALS webbing, it works as good as a factory installed compression strap would work.
Is this ideal for a school backpack ? I'm curious 😅
looks like a viable 72 bug out bag. i mean its the contents that'll make you last long right?
@20GATE91 Been looking at the Eberlestock packs. man them things rock!!! kinda spendy but worth it i think... Im looking at the skycrane II and the V90 battleship, among a few others... I need the ultimate BOB,survival, camping,WTSF kinda bag... Which one do you recomend???
I have the same bag in olive color. I love it's durability a lot, but the bag is really really heavy, and a little bulky even when it's empty. Therefore I would recommend it for tactical use rather than bushcraft and hiking. Thanks.
Use one for dayhikes. Enough space for my rain gear, some clothes, a small sleeping bag, ground sheet, a tarp and a stove. Not huge but that just means less **** you bring along.
My only beef is the two small pockets on top - I wish they'd make that one bigger pocket.
How does this bag compare to a bag like the Maxpedition Vulture II or Condore II? I need to buy a new bag soon and am having a really hard time deciding. Thanks!
I own this bag and the blackhawk assault pack as well. I use this bag as a bug out bag. It's really good to stay organized because of all the pockets. It's definitely too heavy for something like hiking or long time use. I wish 5.11 would you something like ripstop nylon.
Great review man. Totally agree with your feedback.
Hey Adam, Whats the name of that rain jacket you have? I like how it's compressed.
@khenghuan It's a McNett Aquamira
hey man, what do you think of tactical tailor? any reviews on their gear? i know its a lot more on the tactical side. if no reviews then maybe try out the Extended Range Operator Pack. i know our unit really used their gear during our deployment and training.
I've been looking at the 5.11 Rush 24 to buy, what would be a comparable daypack/EDC for about the same price/size?
Will this backpack be good for law enforcement use like putting my duty belt and uniform or just get a 72?
Do you think a small backpacking tent would fit?
the second pocket at 2:15 could it hold a piece of body armor?
excuse
I am japanese.
I can not understand english well.
I have question.
Your backpack color is sandstone? or flatdarkearth? or OD?
Do you think that this is too heavy for a female edc bag. My Osprey talon carries about 9-10 pounds. thx
Could you turns the pens backwards so they'd catch on the other pocket?
Great video. Can you tell me how the test is going?
Can u fit a 1 liter bottle in the side pocket?
to anyone that may be discouraged by some of the negative comments and im sure that was not his intention. But this review is based on his personal views and experiences. May not be the best for him but coud be the end all bag for you.
Do any of the pockets fit a 13" laptop?
i wonder what else you can put in there.
body armor
@Equip2Endure Thanks, gonna buy it!
ya it can I use the inner pocket inside the main area of my bag it fits my 15 laptop sideways
i have been considerin 511 products for some time now. Adam, could you please do a review of the 5.11 Tier System?
You could improve the capacity with ranger rolls. I can fit 4 in the Rush MOAB 6.
thanks for watching
Is that the dark earth color?
Good review of pockets and such. I wish you'd panned out once, so we could get a sense of the size of bag. And shown it worn on your back. It is after all a BACK pack. Not a Tupperware collection.
Thanks for watching
I just picked up a 24 hour rush pack for $10 at an estate sale :)
I've got both the RUSH 12 and 24. The 24 is too bulky and hefty even when empty. After I add my radio pouch, etc. to the 24, it becomes a pain for everyday use. The RUSH 12 seems to strike a good balance.
can you atach the moab 10 on it?
The outside pockets that you threw your knife in and tried to throw your ax in are for water bottle. Specifically designed for the camelback 1.5l bottle.
Anybody else miss when this channel was still active
Where do people get those name things to put on the Pack
What is the color of Sandstone or perhaps TAC OD? Very please with information!
just picked one up and it has loops on the bottom for a bed role
What's that I see running on the PC behind you? :)
can it fit a 15.6 laptop?
What watch is that?
Is that sandstone or FDE?

I think Equip2Endure is the greatest on the web! I love how they do only survival stuff. Most channels have firearms. I am not a firearm person. What is so weird is I think Adam is in law enforcement and he works with firearms. He doesnt do gun reviews. I like it! That shows that he is a pro.
What's the knife called? 3:28 Thanks
Adam, try getting some molle Kbar belt adapters. The velcro center sections are great for hatchet/axes. About $3 each.
@LittleofLife I honestly didn't have any problem understanding him.. I didnt have to re watch it just played it once. Maybe it's your speaker?
Is it American made?
Adam, I personally found that this pack experiences stitching failure where the sunglasses pocket is and ventilates poorly, hope this advice is useful
where can i get that E2E hat ?
if any one can tell me i would ove to know how to make the braid that his bracelet is made out of i cant figure out how to tie it so if anyone can help thanks
Are these well made like Camalbak?
yes very much I love mine
I'd like to ask you if this backpack has bottom straps.
Nobody shows the bottom of the bag!! I've looked at 4 videos so far and went to web site and no luck yet.
Scott Matthews do you mean a hip strap or the very bottom?
rubicontj3 very bottom. Of the bag has molle pal webbing or straps to add sleeping pad or sleeping bag. Thanks
***** thank you!!
Nope you have to get them yourself.
@magemager0 Casio Pathfinder.
@houseoffire72 Yeah they are pricey, but they are worth it. Mmm...Well it depends. I would recommend the G4 Operator pack. But it depends on what you will be carrying. I wouldn't really recommend the V90 as a bug out bag cause it's too big and will be hard to do certain things in a Bug out situation. I might get one my 5 day backpacking trips.
The pop-up picture in the beginning is actually the RUSH 72.
If I had to guess, I'd say an armor plate. Most plate carriers have similar pockets
@rustylcurtis Thanks!
