    Good conversion, could be a cheap way to get a good buggy, motor + esc only cost about £20 on Bangood.Either get this setup or just go all out and get the ZdRaptor Buggy, I trust ZD racing because of my positive experience with their d16 DRIFT CAR, really reliable.
    The A959 is quite reliable, my motor blew after about 3 months, I got bits here so they could be good spares if I get another, think I would go for the B version for the extra power.

      TheDIYGuy999 thanks dude currently modding my 979b and have been looking into a brushless motor and esc replacement , I’m aware you need a digital servo to be compatible with multi channel radio but I’d like to get the steering angle slightly larger using a stronger servo with a larger steering radius, I’ve noticed that there are extension adaptors for the hubs to give the rc car a wider wheel base giving me more room for the larger steering angle , hopefully this will also fix the problem of it being unpredictably controllable at high speeds and give it overall better handling.

    Why only a 25A ESC with this combo ?.

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      25A is enough for this size of car. But you're right, maybe iI will upgrade to a 35a with 2440 motor...

    Your tires blooming gives you less tire surface = less control an inless you have metal gears most likely them are now stripped . as cool as blooming looks hurts when blows up in your face .

    • @TheDIYGuy999

    Bitte nutz nicht immer loctite. Wenn ein Teil Plastik is ( schraube oder Loch) dann geht's schneller kaputt wenn du beim nächsten mal die schraube rausdrehen möchtest.

    I want to like these cars. But, it takes nearly 2 months for this stuff to arrive from China. That is unreasonable and makes driving these things difficult.

      Why? it just adds more weight and it can't flex during a crash

    That much power on a short wheel base is pointless, you can't control the darn thing.

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, the controllability is not the best. That's why I deigned an automatic stability control:
