I just replaced my alternator on my 2005 Chrysler 300, 6 cyl, 3.5 L 2.15 CID today. You sir must work at an auto body shop and not a mechanic shop. You are removing unnecessary car body parts to get to the alternator. Your bill for this type of work at your shop must be excessive. I spent a total of $145 and 58 minutes of labor time. You've totally exaggerated the amount of work required to replace the Chrysler 300 alternator. The only part I agree with is removing of the positive and negative battery wires.
my Chrysler is having some bad issues malfunctioning mds cylinder deactivation, ecm/pcm will lose communication randomly and my lights on my dash will dim in and out especially when the radios on, I go to the hidden menu and the voltage is very inconsistent it will bounce from 12.9 volts to 14.2 and it will go up and down constantly, I’ve noticed when I press my brakes or shift gears the voltage will dip from 14.2 to 12.9 and go back up I can also disconnect the thermals on the battery and the car will instantlly die, is this a sign of a failing alternator or am I screwed/ bad pcm ecm because I read that the ecm pcm control’s alternator voltage
I replaced mine in an hour without removing anything but air intake system and one jack stack stand next to the front right tire😂 This guy is a terrible mechanic not even the radiator hose was taken out the alternator wiggles out from the top but takes two to finish.😁 2010 Chrysler 300c 5.7 L
I have an 07 300 Touring. That isn't even close to the setup. Got to the lower bolts without removing the shroud. Even got an impact on one of them to remove it. Got to the electronics easily from the bottom. I DID have to remove the hose from the radiator, but nothing else. In the future, please just tag the actual year model you are working on. These year ranges NEVER apply. ESPECIALLY to the 07 year models.

Is this the right video? I thought we were replacing an alternator and this guy is draining a radiator?
How long did it really take to break the bolts loose? 😅
Great Video and Info !!
Why are you removing the cap from expansion tank and draining water just to change an alternator?
Did he have to drain the radiator in this model because of the size of the hemi? Seems like it would be easier in my 3.5l V6
Do u HAVE to remove radiator hose to get the alternator out?
