G.I. Native Hawaiian and strict vegetarian Torpedo was SCUBA instructor prior to joining the Joes. This looks great, I remember my brother having Torpedo and I loved. Now I get to have my own. The fact the Joes come with so much gear is just great
Maybe it's because I have an affinity for all things aquatic, but this figure looks perfect. Can't wait to get him in hand because he's looking like a Top 10 contender for the year.
I'll be army building this. Glad to see he turned out as good as the promos, and doesn't have the QC problems of recent waves
Very nice! Oh they’ll be making some Cobra Eels for sure. Dan they could keep this line alive for at least five more years. So much. Kayak or Canoe he’d look sharp in either. Torpedo looks marvelous!
That scales with marvel legends! at least as a not-so-muscly person close to 6 inch. I am really considering Joes for Marvel legends custom bases and those accessories are looking fun
That is one of the most goregous action figures I have ever seen. Torpedo was a favorite of mine as a kid - my Dad was in the Navy, so the Navy Joes always got to go on the missions - and this figure is the perfect update of the 1983 original. Great work, Dan - pretty jealous you have this in hand...

Great review, Dan! Absolutely love this guy! I’m sure they’ll get a fair amount of reuse out of this sculpt, so hopefully we’ll soon see Wetsuit, some Cobra Eels, and maybe Deep Six too 🤞
Torpedo is the perfect example of a gi joe action figure with all of his accessories fitting on him. I feel like this guy is perfect for customs.

Thats X-Force Deadpool. If youve ever wanted a marvel legends body with a Classifieds articulation scheme this fig would be the way to go
What a great figure! This is a must have!
One way to display your water troops is to hang them with fishing line the same you would with your fliers, then just print out an aquatic background or pick one up at a pet supply store. works quite well, especially if you are using display cases as you can just make a whole cube or shelf dedicated to water
I like that idea. I currently have made several foam board dioramas for my classified figures. My plan for shipwreck , copperhead and torpedo is a pier/dock setting.

One character I can’t wait for in Classified form is Deepsix and of course Shipwreck - I think those two and now Torpedo might be my favourite seamen - never thought that would be a sentence I’d use for Classified! 🤣

Everyone gets theirs's first. And if you bought them from Hasbro Pulse you will get it months after other online stores. Drives me nuts.

Man I’m in my late 30’s and this made me want to get one of those seasonal inflatable pools fill it up with water and jump in and play with some action figures like when I was a kid 😂

so glad i preordered this guy.
Pre ordered him today over here at New Rochelle GameStop, hope he comes in when he's supposed to, torpedo has a special meaning to me because I remember back in the day when he came out me and my little brother chipped in together to get him, and we would take turns playing with torpedo with the other Joe's...

He's got " Aqualung" fins. But his legs are way too short. For the fin length. Ruins the deal for me. I've couple decsd...years diving professionally.
I actually passed on both Torpedo and Snow Job. They are Specialists in only one environment.

All these figures have basically the same articulation and these you tube reviewers always spend half the review going over the articulation for every figure and when you fast forward thru all that it’s like a 3 minute review 😂😂 sweet fig tho got him on pre-order they hit the states in September
I agree as a viewer myself articulation is boring and even as a content creator it’s a boring section but if I didn’t do it, I would get tons of comments asking for it! 😅 it’s so hard to please everyone unfortunately
Well I like to see the articulation, especially if it's a new mould like this. I mean look at Covergirl with her arms that fall off when posed.

firstborn had original, and I eventually acquired him after a few years.
he’s named after Larry Hama’s Marvel mate, Hawai’ian born Steve Leialoha. Leia, as in the Princess, Loha as in aloha.
