Given those huge green forests that apparently are on Greenland in 2040.. or was it 2050?.. I'd say not only must the climate have changed very drastically, but those forests must have grown very very fast. 🤔 ... But cool though that we find a whole new planet to destroy all over again. 😁👍 (or at least we thought we did, up until the plot twist).

Well, that was silly.
This is just a big graphics whack off. The main "character" looks like an inflate-a-date. Don't me wrong, graphics were not intended to be photo real. They're beautifully done for their purpose., love the architecture. I'm just saying a little story would be nice, mirror over the inflate-a-date astronaut lady's visor, keep her faceless, develop the narration & it'd work.

BS ... travel at or even close to Light Speed is IMPOSSIBLE, Physics has proved it, Time Slows to a halt at the speed of light.
Never stopped sci-fi before. You are assuming they are still in Newtonian space by then. That is the least of the problems with this mess. It's just a CG wankoff.
You’re wrong. Accelerating up to or past SOL is impossible. But FTL travel is definitely not only possible but already happens.

@@danielc2701There are various ways to look at this: 1) light travels at different speeds depending upon multiple factors including gravity and media, so the issue is “c” which is a sort of universal speed limit created to resolve relativity and it just so happens that light (photons) hits that speed limit. However there is evidence that other particles can and do move faster than “c”. Also there is quantum entanglement which allows information to travel great distance instantaneously or almost instantaneously.
@@jonstachelrodt I don't recall any particles that ever exceeded light, the only one that was postulated was the tachyon and up till today, no evidence of it was ever detected. The neutrino was once postulated to be able to go FTL but upon cross checking, it was found that the results were due to instrument error rather than physical properties. The luxon (light speed massless particle) and bradyon (STL massless particle) have been discovered but the tachyon still eludes detection.
