I'm sorry you can't move to your new location for sometime. But you have a good plan in place to move ahead with some of the changes you want to do. That is why Double Jump is one of the best game stores in the world.
I believe the transfer pack was for Pokemon stadium, not quite sure about stadium 2 which is the more desirable which is different with I believe gold and grey but I could be wrong. I do have Pokemon stadium 2 plus the yellow cartridge with the transfer pack got to see if they work or if it's the red and blue cartridges. That's cool but I don't know if any other games could use it. sweet.
Closely looking at how you guys will distribute replacement cases and slip art for those not local. I have a ton of loose switch cartridges and would love to have cases for them one day.

That being said, I am a bit surprised you guys have been frozen on the news of not being able to move into the store. I understand you want the owner to do things and allow them to have room to do those. It would be great to see you guys step up and conquer this and call out the city, see who you need to talk to in order to get this thing expedited. And why not go to a city/town hall meeting and bring it up. I am sure in a month or so there will be one, you should bring it up to a board. Also, call on your community. you have a loyal following on TH-cam and I never would have found you guys unless I saw you on TH-cam. There is a strong customer base where you could get community involvement done to possibly help with showing the city that people care about this. Hope you are having a good Friday night!
I’ve been awaiting your announcement of the new POS, in the hopes you found something better out there. It sounds promising, but $400/month is a little out of my budget. Maybe once I see it in action though, or my annoyance with Fulcrum grows even larger, I’ll be willing to bite the bullet.
Would a “Sister Location” be a way to both build the brand and help hold down the fort prior to the move? Might there be a mall type environment with a short term lease for the holidays be a way to house inventory and get those cases to work since the storing them is only costing and not generating moolah?
Keep on going Cooper and co yes it sucks and there should be compensation for businesses that go through this? I don’t know why you guys should suffer for someone else’s mistakes? I know you will appreciate your new store even more though now and it’ll be happening before you know it. Time will fly
I wish we had a game store as cool and fun as your all's store here where I live in Ohio. Closest thing I have like this is one that smells like moldy carpet, peppery body odor, and just tons of overpriced filler, junk games.
So I guess there is no chance of another building to rent? OR was that one kind of "the one" you all liked? Is it worth waiting for? OR would it be better to find that other space? Just a couple random thoughts..It stinks about the store and sometimes all these laws/regulations and things really mess such simple things up. Good luck in whatever you do..
We will be waiting for that spot. Its almost perfect for everything we wanted. Visibility is 10x better than where our current store is at, parking lot is awesome, and its further away from the freeway on / off ramps, so there is a little less foot traffic from the shady types.

Here is a question most people don't care about,but do you guys every do inventory? I the all nighters doing inventory when I worked at Blockbuster but it was cool,we had a good sound system and used to play concert videos and took some breaks and played games like Rival Schools,man I missed the good old days and yes I am a boomer. A year will fly and you guys will be in the new store,now comes the clip in the new store,did it come up 🙃. It will soon if it hasn't
We have done it a couple times, but it doesn't solve the issues we have unfortunately. I imagine at blockbuster it might have been a little easier, but we have tens of thousands of SKUs, all with different quantity, and then each individual item has its own condition and completeness. Its such a pain lol
Instead of opening a bigger store, why not open a smaller second location and grow the business that way. You could probably fill a small shop with all your back stock alone.
Wpuld it be possible to open the new location at a smaller retail space with temp walls. Then the ability to expand once everything is cleared up? This could give time for a foot traffic annalysis and vehicle/parking analysis. It would require a renegotiated Lease Agreement. Yet could satisfy both aspects temporarily if the retail space is equal to or grrater than where you are currently located. The unaccessible section could still be designed and considered storage area. Thus providing future planning. Just a thought
We can't open at all unfortunately. we just have to wait until the lawyers and the city hash it out. At least it gives us extra time to plan, save money, etc.

We are only offering the alternate art provided by Nintendo to print at home, we are not making any "reproductions"
