This race proves that you can still have a great race even when Max wins. This one had action all around.
Shout out to that Albon overtake, just incredible how he managed that.
Yeah honestly gotta give respect to max this year. Last year it was very easy to get annoyed when he won but this year it’s way more evident he has to try hard and that he’s the best.
@@kuzcoduzco2955True but I was still annoyed probably because McLaren fell away and then held up Mercedes who could have challenged Max. McLaren Fan but I also do like Mercedes at times and this time was one especially For Lewis and George to produce some great racing went back to the Lewis Vs Nico Rosberg days and Lewis being an Ex McLaren Driver I have respect for wanted him to win his seventh to help George next season but the FIA said no. And in a way it being the best race in a long time with Max winning was annoying as it was anticlimactic. It is like the best ever Prem Season 2023/24 just gone but Man City won and like Red Bull have cheated but Unlike Red Bull Man City have Pep and probably would be winning the league anyway
A lot easier for that to happen when Max isn't on pole as well.

Albon and Kmag did an amazing work, Albon getting hit by a red tractor was just unfortunate.

Let's be real. Putting Leclerc onto slicks, wasn't a strategy call. Pitting him was to shut the car off and on. And the tyre compound was to give Sainz info on how it would do, since Leclerc was already out of the race :)
Matt mentioned that Magnusson wasnt getting enough coverage. Im guessing that was the Sky Sports broadcast, becuase the F1TV crew really hyped it up!
Brundle and Crofty kept trying to mention it, then TV would cut to Hulkenburgs helmet cam, changing their narrative call a bit. The tv direction absolutely did not help them.
I thought he got plenty of coverage on Sky considering how short his stint was. They mentioned it every couple laps at least. But I think it was clear to everyone he would have to pit early and it wouldn't pay off. So in the end, it was neat, but not really a strategy worth worrying about.
It was still very important - he could have come out well within the top ten if he made up a few more seconds and Haas pit crew remembered that he existed

I don't think so, those tyres fell off really badly and they would've either had to pit early or get overtaken when the drs was activated

I think the "McLaren's first points in a decade" thing refers to the fact that they last scored in Montreal in 2014. Button 4th and KMag 8th, if memory serves.

Ferrari fans got humbled HARD this weekend
The Haas strategy would have worked if Sargent didnt cause a caution. Once others got free stops, the strat failed. Imagine if KMag could have stayed out fot track position while the others stopped under green. It was fun while it lasted. At least Haas is trying this year.

They are after all, the perfect representation of their country better than any other team: beautiful, inconsistent, and frustrating. I’d still support them than a soulless soda can.

The timing of the pit stop for Hards completely screwed Leclerc over. Just when the SC was ending, so he would be far behind everyone and couldn't make It back before the SC ended.

Remember Both Red Bull Drivers, RB Tap and Pay Drivers and Lawson are all contracted as Red Bull Drivers. Yuki and Dan are loaned out and Lawson goes where required. So Perez still needs to be careful.
