    Love this kit, if you're lucky enough to have the puncturing object on your front tire(s), just leave your tire on, and turn your wheel so you have a better leverage. Takes 1 minute to do. No you don't need to "patch" your tire, i've used this on multiple tires and cars and they've never failed. Thanks!

      @steelwitness หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s good but it’s still best to take the wheel off and insect the entire thing first any other puncture or potential cracks in the rim as well

    The Slime Kit has repaired about 8 holes in the past few years for me. If possile, taking the tire off is better, makes it much easier.

    Why does Slime packaging only show ATV, Trailer, motorcycle, tractor images on their packages? They never show images of cars or trucks? Are these not to be used for full size cars & trucks?

    • @tdiddy3307
      @tdiddy3307 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      It says on the packaging that it is to be used for an emergency repair and to only drive to a tire shop to get a permanent replacement. But I have used a slime plug on a car before a long time ago for months and it held up and never broke until I got tires but ymmv lol

    How about next time you forget the music so we can hear the narrator better. Why do people who make videos think we need to be "entertained" with their music instead of just letting us hear the narrator better. Corporate stupidity.

    This is not working perfectly in certain situations. We did a plug on a Bugatti Veyron rear tire and around 183 mph there is a slight vibration coming from the rear right side where the plug was. I guess we need to do a balance or replace the tire.

    How long should you wait before you put air in it for the glue to dry?

    • @fdavid
      @fdavid 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      It’s not really a glue. I believe they call their stuff plug bond or something but it’s main purpose is to be used as a lubricant and most people use rubber cement. Slimes old kits actually came with rubber cement. Rubber cement can be used (optionally) as a plug lubricant to aid with installation. It is not required to adequately repair your tire puncture but it helps to slide it in and out easier and dries to a nice sticky finish.

    Why not twist the needle?

    • @Ure_Boss
      @Ure_Boss 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Bc the plug could become fitted on the plugger needle tighter than the force it takes to leave it in the tire puncture, causing it to come out with the needle instead of staying in the tire

    It's pure hell to use this tool. It would not insert the plug, and that's after using the reamer to ENLARGE the hole.
    I used something like this years ago on my car with no real problem, but the tire was not mounted then so maybe that made it easier which is why I tried this again.
    So?
    I Placed the tool end on the road and CAREFULLY rolled the MOUNTED tire over it.
    Got insertion and so far (24 hours) the the tire doesn't leak.
    Also instead of paying for the PREMIUM tool, just get a pvc pipe tee and put the handle of the tool in that.
    Note the tool instructions say it's for emergency repair only, so drive on the repaired tire at your risk.
